Hello! As of last Christmas I have received a slightly cat-chewed spider plant from my Grandma. It’s doing really well now, and is sprouting a bunch of new baby plantlets and blossoming flowers! Can I leave the new plantlets alone and let them grow? Or is it best to remove and propagate? Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

I got this polka dot plant and after about 2 weeks leaves started drying out and falling off. I cut all the leaves off about 2 weeks ago and left the roots. A few small sprouts came out but quickly died. Is there any saving this plant?!

Hi! 👋🏻 I recently added this white princess to my collection and right now it’s about seven feet away from the window (East facing) should I move it closer to the window? I’ve had her here for a week now. Thank you! 🙏🏻☺️

Need plant identification help! I’m visiting my elderly parents and found their houseplants in very sad states. I’m gonna knock out some rehab while I’m here but have no clue what these plants are to know what they need. Plant identifier is sooo not helpful so I need my planty-peeps assistance please!

Guys!!! I need ideas/thoughts on moss pole, where to insert, if I should etc. 🫶🏻🪴 I got him about 2 months ago, he’s already grown significantly, and has pushed out like 4 new leafs! 😂👏🏼💚 My office isn’t big, so I’m getting worried about the size of this guy. Any suggestions?! 🙏🏼

Opinion on my boot planter purchase is appreciated!!!! Should I change the pothos to a different type of plant?

My orange marmalade philodendron has some very sticky spots on the stems that are small, round, clear like water, but when I touch the plant, it is very sticky. AI diagnosed it as honeydew, but I’d like some more help as to what would be appropriate treatment for this plant, if any. TIA!

Finally got the dreaded repot tasks. Luckily I already did a good chunk a bit back.

Asking for any tips: I started this pineapple top about a week ago and some change. I change the water every couple of days or when the water gets cloudy. The leaves are withered and the middle ones are not far behind. There’s bubbles on the bottom so I know it’s taking in water. It’s all a waiting game at this point but I was hoping anyone had tips to help it along. Thank you in advance.

Hello! I got a fatsia japonica “camouflage” last week. It’s grown a bit since then (first pic when I got it, second today) and I’m so happy! However, I noticed that the taller leaves have started to flatten out. Is that normal? Also, do these plants need staked to help stand up as they get bigger? Also I think I just noticed but it seems like the stems are sort of twisting? Like the angle I took was attempted the same and the lowest leaf in the first picture seems to have changed direction to face the sun more! Is this normal?

hi everyone! i’ve had this brake fern for about month or two. i kind of got it impulsively without realizing this type of fern is a bit harder to keep alive. but it’s been so far so good, i think (my cats do take a bit out of it every now and then). i’m just wondering if it’s looking a bit leggy and i need to prune/trim it down. trying to do my best with taking care of this guy, so any advice is appreciated!

Naked root planter - pros, cons, and best plants for that type of system? I have a handful of plants in pon/leca, some in just water, succulents in all sorts of mediums and substrates, and a jade I rescue from a dumpster that I have no idea how it’s thriving. I’ve seen monstera and other house plants doing well enough in these planters but can’t seem to find much info on much past the pothos, calathea, monstera fan base.

First time getting an orchid. Is it normal for them to bloom then fall off?
