saved me a neon pathos from walmart off the clearance section, they had severely drowned her!! $10 later & i ended up with 8 separate pieces 🙈 will be going to get some new pots here soon but here’s my temporary fix! 😍 ps! don’t mind my dirty tank! it’s clean week 🫣

Strongly considering purchasing a Cat Palm for my bedroom in the next 1-3 days (lol) and I’ve been relying on CHATGPT on what to expect. I recently purchased a snake plant from EASY plant basically because of the self-watering marketing . But the price of a Cat palm (a full grown one is 200.00!) . So I want to just get one and purchase a watering planter myself. The thing I’m nervous about is replanting on my own once I buy it. I’m sure it’ll be in a nursery planter. I read on Reddit some people said don’t repot right away some say do to check for any disease or soil rot….so I think I’m going to repot immediately (maybe a week later). Just to be sure I have everything I need how much and what brand of potting soil would you recommend…I believe the nursery pot is 9.5 and I’m planting in a 10in pot. Any other suggestions or advice would be great

For anyone passing through Grand Rapids MI, take time to go to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. There is an entrance fee but it is well worth it. I was amazed at the botanical beauty and sculptures. Ran my phone out of battery by taking so many pictures

Bottom watering of plants. Do you bottom water any of your plants? How long do you let them soak in the water and is it better overall? If you top water how do you know when it’s enough? Photo of my new cute ladder shelf that I found at the thrift store this week for $10 😍 got it for plants. Need more to give it more life 💚💚💚

Never loose hope! I left Medusa with a friend and she thought that Medusa would love some extra Sun. She put her outside for a few hours on a 100 degree day without shade. It burned each of her beautiful leaves. Once I got her back I did some major cutting. Fast forward 3 months and she is back home and recovering sprouting out new shoots and a large leaf that I’m so excited about. Good job Medusa….. a name change might be coming…..Maybe Persephone?! I think she earned the upgrade!!
