Hiya all! Iâve adopted two monstera and looking for some advice! Iâve never had this plant before đ« This large one is really pulling outwards and wondering if I should let it continue or if Iâm supposed to offer more support? Secondly, this small one was going very yellow? Whatâs the likely problem? Completely new to this plant and just saved them from a friend! Any help appreciated đ
Just picked up my first monstera from Facebook marketplace and I get it in two weeks⊠my parents are caring for it until I get there and I think theyâre killing it đđđ whatâs the best care to help save it for two weeks? I think theyâve overwatered it and might be too close to a window? Sun sets in this window and they said the leaves are starting to curl⊠theyâve had it two days⊠I need help before they kill it!!

What is this plant? I thought this was the tag it came with but maybe it was mixed up at the store? I scan this plant and it doesnât come up with any suggestions that look anything like it. It has very strong base, I can see an aerial root forming, different than anything else I own. Any ideas?
Ohhhhhh, Iâm really trying not to freak out. I repotted this beautiful baby last week. Added the trellis and LOVED how she looked after the repot. A week later and she is struggling MAJORLY. Iâve never had a plant go thru this MUCH shock after a repot. Hoping another week sheâll be a little more recovered and not âlostâ đ„čđ©đ

Anyone know how to save a Hydrangea from root rot? I think I over watered her and she got upset because I took her outside for sunset shade. She was in the sunset when I bought her so I thought sheâd be ok. She was doing well for 2 weeks but now sheâs mad at me. Her pot had drainage holes but I think the holes were too close to the plate and werenât really draining.
Iâve had this aloe for years, but I neglected her while my mental health wasnât up. Iâd like to see her thrive as she always has, again. Sheâs leaning, bent, and browning. Sheâs still growing upwards beautifully. Iâve only ever cut her back a couple stems since Iâve had her. Outside of repotting (hoping this will provide support to stand tall), any suggestions? Ever since Planta started asking what weâd like to name our plants when we add them, I have started naming all of mine. Even the ones before the option. Am I the only one? Lol. And are your plants male, female, âitâ or a combination? đ€·ââïž
New to fertilizing!! Hi guys, i normally bottom water my plants, can i add fertilizer to the water when bottom watering or should i water from the top when using fertilizer? also do i just use a small amount or water like i normally do? Thanks for any help! Picture of my Ivy đ
anyone else just love tiny plants? this is my miniature stonecrop (unidentified but likely a sedum species); each rosette is less than 5mm across. this cat skull planter is so small i have to water with a dropper. it has no drainage holes but it is cement so excess moisture is wicked awayâ each eye socket gets about 3 or 4ml of water each watering, roughly every ten days. then, i tip it so that it is vertical and the excess water is âcriedâ away. these were just planted this spring so i am excited to see them fill out.

Just bought this little guy. Little Ruby. My goal is to have a mostly purple/black garden so I think this would be a good fit. Unfortunately itâll die in the winter (New England)âŠ. Unless I leave it in a pot or dig it out. Does anyone else try to save their annuals for next year?
What plants would you recommend for hanging pots directly in a large full south facing window? Bonus if itâs a trailing plant, but not pothos because I already have a lot of those đ the pots would be about 30 cm from the window but it does get really sunny and hot. Iâm open to many options but currently have these plants that donât yet have an assigned spot in my house: tradescantia nanook, tradescantia pallida, raphidophora tetrasperma (mini monstera), aloe vera and monstera adansonii. This plant seems so happy here, but the app tells me it might be in a spot too dark for it. Should I move it? also should I trim the at the rate itâs going? Itâll reach the floor soon lol some of the leaves near the soil seem dead. Am I supposed to weed them out? Hope everyone is having an amazing day sending positive vibes out.
