FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS?! Monday and me and Anton discussed our favorite indoor plants (right now, might be something else tomorrow): if you just could pick three, which would it be?! And this is what we ended up with: ANTONS FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS: Silver Teaspoons - Kalanchoe bracteata & Kalanchoe hildebrandtii These are great plants for full to part sunlight locations. The plant makes wonderful silvery leaves, stems and naturally tends to branch out a lot on its own. It’s drought tolerant and also easy to propagate from stem cuttings. Suitable as both a free growing, large plant or get regularly pruned to be kept small and dense. Red Bristle Philodendron - Philodendron squamiferum A great alternative option to monsteras, pothos and other climbing aroids. This plant gets interesting green leaves with unique maroon to red hairy leaf stalks. It’s suitable for bright indirect light areas in your home. It’s also easy to propagate using stem cuttings. Vrieseas - Vriesea Vrieseas are some of the most striking bromeliads. These plants are usually rather adaptable and can tolerate anywhere from rather low to high amounts of light. But they tend to grow best in part sun locations or plenty of bright, indirect light. There are many different interesting species and varieties to choose from. The species “the King of Bromeliads”, Vriesea hieroglyphica, is one of our favourite. In optimal conditions it can eventually reach an impressive diameter of almost 5 ft. Although that’s not usually the case indoors luckily. MY FAVORITE INDOOR PLANTS: Porcelain Flower - Hoya Carnosa 'Tricolor / Krimson Queen' She is green, she is pink and she is white. That might be motivation enough. But this queen can also handle many different lightning situations and keeps on growing steady for years to come. Vanilla - Vanilla planifolia A unique orchid that produces the world’s most popular and versatile flavor and scent—vanilla! It’s both beautiful and useful, and growing it might just help protecting it from extinction. Jade Plant - Crassula Ovata Crassula ovata is an amazing succulent known for its thick leaves and resilience. It’s easy to care for, symbolizes good luck, and can live for decades. If you're lucky enough and provide it with the right conditions it might even bloom with delicate white or pink flowers.

Help! What do you guys do to keep these babies up?? Should I cut and left it grow again? Or should I stick something in the soil to help it stay up? Thanks 🌱✨
My little ficus has been dropping leaves like crazy, like three or four a day for the past two weeks. However, if you’ll notice inside the leaves, close to the stems, there are little green berries, which I have never seen before! I have to assume that even though she’s dropping leaves, which she has done in the past, she must be happy. Comments…?
Anyone know what the plant in the front is? And the one that looks like a alovera too pl? It’s not one btw 🙌😅. And the red tip leaf one too lol. All I know is their cactuses. Any help would be appreciated!!!
HELP! anyone know what this bonsai is???? I got it from a friend they don’t know what it is. They never resoiled it!!! 🙏
Does anyone know why my philodendron Brazil has 2 leafs that are turning red/orange?
Just wanted to share since I’m way to excited for a new shelf 😂 Since one my cats is hell bent on eating ALL of my plants, I had the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and get a wire shelf so he can’t get near them! This is phase 1 of turning this rectangular bay window into a jungle ♥️ PS: Yes, I know the humidity level on my humidifier is way too low for my sad calatheas and my croton— I live in northeastern Indiana in a house built in 1900 with forced air heat. I’m just happy the humidity isn’t all the way down to 15% at this stage. Winter sucks 😔
Hi everyone! Anyone know what kind of plant this is? We’re looking to propagate and aren’t sure if this plant will work well with a leaf propagation. TIA!
Someone save my chinese evergreen spathonema- I got it about 3 weeks ago at Alsip when it was in near perfect health, but the leaves keep yellowing like CRAZY.. anybody know whats wrong? And I've been pruning all the yellowing leaves that were beyond saving, is that the right thing to do?
I went shopping today for a new hoya. Came home with 4 hoyas, and a few bonuses. Here’s my dilemma. The only room with least amount of plants where I can quarantine has no window. These plants need sunlight. Do I jeopardize their health and wait two weeks for their new homes? Or do I jeopardize my other plants and get these guys where they need to be? I normally pick the second choice. I plan on cleaning the leaves and treating the soil with Systemic Granules Insect Control. There is no indication of any issues right now.
Anyone have any air plants? 🌱 I’m trying to understand them, thinking I may make the investment and try my hand with them. 😁
Any suggestions on humidifier’s? My home is pretty dry, not even just for my plants but for me as well. What’s a good humidifier yall recommend. Preferably like to stay in the $60 or less price range. 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊 𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼
The ends of the leaves of my painted pothos have been drying up and blackening. He has plenty of water so I don’t think he is too dry. Could it be over watering, or something in the soil? I used to keep him in just plain water in a jar but once i moved him to soil this started happening. Any suggestions?
Now, a question for all my wonderful plant people on here: when indicating in my room has drafts or not, I have a bit of an issue. All the windows are absolutely tight enough to not let drafts in, but I do open the windows daily for abt 10 minutes to let some of that fresh air in, because otherwise it gets sad&stale and I get a headache. Would you consider that a draft? Thanks!
Wintering:)
One of my favourite things about plants is waking up in the morning to see those lil dewdrops on the leaves, man. I love em
What fertilizer is suitable for most plants and works well?
I had been wanting. Variegated Rhaphidophera tetrasperma fir a bit. And saw this little mint version before the holidays. It's already pushing up a new leaf!!
Hello plant parents, just sharing a beautiful site and benefit of having plant caddies to group them together for sun bathing.
What is this? Was a volunteer in another plant I bought - Planta can’t seem to identify and of late it’s not happy - not sure what it needs because I don’t know what it is!
