I got her before Xmas on clearance at a local store and I am so happy I haven’t killed it 🥰

39 years old and just brought my first ever plants 🤦‍♂️ Here’s to try to keep these beauties alive 🤣 Starting easy I hope Any Tips?

Look at the new Growth on my ZZ plant I bought in October! Guess he likes the location :) 5 new shoots this month! If only I had such luck with my prayer plant!

So i have an African Violet plant and Planta says it needs watered in 3 days but her leaves are wilting and for my other plants like pothos it means they’re thirsty. I dont want root rot so do I stick to Planta guide or go ahead and water?

I thought this girl was going to be a plain Jane with a curvy figure, however, she seems to be developing some rouge on her leaves! What’s going on? Is this plain Jane going to become a Betty Grable? TIA!

For those of you with large plant collections, what does your intake process look like? As in, how do you treat new plants for potential fungus, pests, or other ailments? Thanks for the help :)

I am further investigating different types of SOIL MEDIUMS, and I’m noticing that peat does not seem to be a desirable additive; is that correct? I’m discovering that Fox Farms and Sol Soils seem to be popular mediums. Should I be looking for soils that have no peat in them? What soils do you highly recommend for your tropical plants? TIA!

Can someone tell my why my baby bunny belly plant is getting all wilty? It looked so beautiful until about a month ago. I’ve only been watering it about once a month in the winter, and it’ll look a little wilty when I water it but then it will spring right back up but it’s not doing that this time

Zone 10 - I planted a few Dahlia bulbs and no action yet. Any suggestions or am I just being impatient? It’s my first go at bulbs 🤷🏼‍♀️ I started them in a container 3 weeks ago, approximately.

Anybody know what kind of alocasia this is? I'm thinking maybe tiny dancer?? Just realized I have had it entered wrong...
