Can calathea get too much humidity? Due to damage, I have her under a glass cloche, and have misted. The leaves are wet, and I don't want them to rot. My wooden plant stake has molded, so I took that out. I am getting ready to leave for 2 weeks so I want to fix anything I can so my husband doesn't freak!
Trendy Thursday! What’s the hottest plant trend you’re seeing right now? Is it growing in your collection? 🌿
I have a neon pothos thats growing good its not a big plant but it looks like its getting leggy or does it just need to be staked mind you its in a 4 inch pot I think
i just planted my monstera prop a few weeks ago and my dog whipped his tail and broke one of the stems. is there anything i can do to save it? or do i need to cut it off?

My local Nursery was stacked today! This is only one table and there are 3 full greenhouses of indoor plants and succulents. Tell me, which one(s) would you select from this table?
Who has plants that are strictly under grow lights? What is your PPFD reading? Ive had the same set up but as I get more plants and need to play musical plants, I find placing them all on the right tier is getting tough with finding the right spot...for the right plant...with the right PPFD. Ive been messing around with it and now ive added individual halo lights to some plants. Any suggestions with light set ups to have as minimal lights as possible? I "think" if I added a fourth hanging light that would resolve my problem. Thoughts? Pictures for motivation? And please do not judge the picture too hard. Thats the result of two straight days of moving things around and still not knowing what I want. Lol
Pour some fertilizer out for my Anza tonight. After four years of flourishing, it was too little too late to stop the dying process. This is the plant that grew my love of plant care. Our first plant. I propped what I could and can only hope for Anza the II 🌱💚 It’s odd to say you grieve a plant. But with the effort, research, time, trial and error we really do pour ourselves into our plants that give so much back.
took a cutting from water to soil MAYBE 2 weeks ago and it’s been under my grow light on my plant stand. i’m so shocked at the roots already growing out of the pot!!! what a successful transition!!! 🌱🪴 also check out my cool stand :)
I repotted an orchid and didn’t expect anything to happen, but we have growth! Excited to see what happens as this buddy grows and flowers.
That little cherry tomato sprout is such a quiet victory. 🌱 It’s the start of something sweet, something you’re growing with your own hands and care. Right now it’s just cotyledons and damp soil, but soon it’ll be reaching up with real leaves, then blossoms, then fruit. Tiny red bursts of flavor, sunshine, and pride. You planted this. You’re watching life unfold from the ground up. And every day it grows, so do you.
Gotta get water !!!
hey yall. i found this wet stick randomly buried at the bottom of my prop box. i moved it into a bigger one and it sprouted. i have zero clue what this is😂 it’s definitely like a philodendron of some sort but other than that, i am lost.
My dieffenbachia is really taking a hit in this cold weather. I’ve placed a space heater in my living room to try to keep it around 70. When I’m working and turn it off, it drops to 64 in here. I’ve already lost multiple leaves at this point as they completely shriveled up due to the cold…I’m so devastated. She was thriving just last week. 😞Now it looks bare again. I’m just glad that it’s still somewhat alive.
What can I do to prevent this browning & also I have leaves growing but they are very skinny how do I get them to become a lil beefy
It’s time for another Wishful Wednesday! What are your top wishlist plants!?
Just “ Leafing” this here for everyone.. In case you weren’t sure what leaf cleaner/shine or the right fertilizer/plant food? Here’s what I use, in total I spend under $100 /year on my supplements for my plants. (Also not included *Propogation Drops” & Hydrogen Peroxide)
Should I cut leaf off? If so where do I cut?
