I received this solar flare aloe in the mail back in October and unfortunately there was an unexpected cold snap when it was in transit. I had ordered a heating pad with it just in case but it malfunctioned. The shipper refunded my money so no loss but I’m not someone who can give up on a plant. It never really looked healthy but recently it’s started to look even worse. I just leave it be in case it rebounds. Tonight, I noticed that despite how bad the plant looks, there appears to be new growth all around the stem. What do you guys think? Do you think these are new leaves (weirdly growing outside the stem which I’ve never seen in my other aloes) or are they possibly pups (also weirdly growing very close to the mother?)?

Yall… so I had a mango pit that started sprouting or.. growing (refer to picture to understand what time saying) so I potted it… is this okay? Is this how you’re supposed to do it? I don’t wanna kill it. HELLPPPP any advice?

I just started container gardening last week (first time ever planting ANYTHING!) this is a container full of random wildflowers and as I went to water them this morning I saw my first ever sprouts!!! I’m so happy!!!

Hi Everyone!! New plant mom here! I bought this beautiful Lilly from Trader Joe’s and it was in good condition when I bought but now the leaves are drooping and curling up. I water every 4-5 days or when the upper layer of soil feels dry. Can someone please suggest me what’s going wrong? Appreciate your support in advance! 😊

Okay, I’m at a loss, my money tree is doing absolutely horrible. The rest of the tree rotted off, and almost all the leaves have fallen off. I only water according to the schedule this app provides but she’s so unhappy. I keep her in bright indirect light too.

The first picture is what I got yesterday that my mom has been helping me to get a good start from one of the babies from the original from my grandma. Iris is a silver inch plant. The 2nd photo was Iris at the lowest point and the next one Iris in recovery. The last one is one of Iris at its peak I think; she used to have multiple blooms at one point. I’m nervous about having her again so any tips would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I bought a FLF a month ago. Seems to be doing good and has put out a few new leafs on each tree top. It’s 3 trees in one pot. I would like to get them taller and eventually trim the bottom to make more of a tree from. At what point should I start trimming lower leaves? And should I pull the 3 trees apart and repot them or let it go like this? First time owner of a fiddle leaf so any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks!

Grow light suggestions and tips? Learning very quickly that I definitely should've done more research on my grow light than the wattage and light output. My current light goes from +1050fc to 9fc within 2 feet and the timers not working (I blame planned obsolescence since its been exactly 1 day past the return date) I'm thinking of replacing her eventually with a sansi, but I want oppinions. Is there a difference between the bulbs and the puck lights? I wanna try to have around the 750fc mark because I miss my succulent empire😭

Does anyone know about well water? I don't always have rain water for my picky plants and I'm wondering how well water (straight from the ground) comparares to municipal water.

Hey guys I recently got this philo for free and noticed it had meelie bugs. Been spraying with dawn dish soap water on the leafs and stems till I get neem oil. But I’m lowkey scared it will spread to all my babies. I’m debating on leaving it outside to freeze the bugs off or cutting off all the leafs? What should I do?

my spider plant makes babies like crazy! i’ve already cut a bunch of them off to propagate, do i have to cut all of them off for proper growth? or can i just leave them until im ready to cut some more off to propagate later on?
