Hii! 👋🏼 I just wanted to share my new gorgeous Monstera because I am in love and obsessed! That is all 😜

So I recently bought an albo from a store on Etsy with fabulous reviews, the Instructions were to place the cutting in water and change water every 2 days. I’ve been doing that and just noticed the black Rot on the bottom. What can I do to save this??

Anyone have experience growing English Ivy? I’ve done a lot of reading but can’t seem to find any conclusive answers …. Will my Ivy eventually grow up the trellis and put out areial roots to anchor itself? 🍃

Tap water was my mistake 🥲 I didn’t realize you actually need a distilled water or rainwater for VTF species….so I decided to investigate more and see what was the issue before I realized tap water was the problem. So I can’t find anything that tells if I can revive this sad VFT or is it too late? 😬

Everyone please pause your scrolling and look at this spider plant that I haven’t watered at all this year because I was convinced it wasn’t going to make it through my move. It’s been in the garage and I haven’t checked on it in a couple of months, but my grandma asked today if I wanted to try and save it, and you can imagine my shock when I started pulling away dead leaves to find all of this healthy growth. FOUR MONTHS without water and she’s thriving somehow

My monstera’s root is getting so big. I’m not sure what to do with it or should I should just leave it alone? I also just repotted her 3 days ago.

I have a light question. My lounge (am in the UK) has a south facing window and a west facing window and I’m not sure what light setting to use on Planta. None of my plants can be in the window due to the blinds/sofa etc. My lounge is bright an bathed in sun for the majority of the day (when it’s eventually out) but it doesn’t directly hit my plants until the end of the day when it hits a few plants as it sets. Do I use the full sun setting or the part sun part shade? Depending on which I select Planta’s telling me my plants are placed too bright or too dark 🤷🏼‍♀️ help! Photo below is the low sun… the lily is now moved and have put my PPP in its place. Thank you.

I got this pilea and it looks good but the leaves are bending outward and seem very firm. Is that normal? First time with this one 😅

I have been battling mealybugs on my plants for a while. I eventually gave up and used systemic pesticide for them. I used the granules. Maybe I over treated them, I'm not too sure but now I noticed my plants are having some issues on the edges and looking very dull. Does the attach look like the bugs haven't gone away or is this a result of them being unhealthy due to the treatment? I also have not watered since the treatment due to the soil being moist. They are just starting to dry out. The last watering was with the granular treatment.

Hi all! I’m working on a little plant corner with a humidifier so I can get some of my wish list plants. How far away should plants that don’t like humidity be from this corner? Succulents and snake plant for example. Can they be in the same room as the humidifier, but 10+ feet away? Or should they be in a different room altogether? Thanks for any advice!

This is my Japanese Aralia… she was so full and vibrant when I got here and over the winter here in Montreal, she has died away. Can she be saved??? I don’t know many people with this plant… please help!!!! It is now spring here in Montreal, currently 8 degrees.
