Hello beautiful people! I wanted to share my favorite little guy right now…
This is Leviathan, he is my Golden Pothos that I am growing hydroponically!
Also, I am newer to growing, I am a college student living in apartments with a busy life, so any advice about keeping my plants healthy is good advice!

Hi friends! Does anyone know what this long stalk coming from my peperomia is? It wasn’t there when I bought it back in May but has since grown in. Just wondering if I should cut it back to encourage growth in the main leaves. Thank you!! 🌱

I’m interested in putting my indoor plants outside for the summer. Does anyone do this? I heard good things. I was going to put them on our table under our umbrella. I have about 16 of them. Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!

It took six months…SIX months for my Pink Princess Alocasia to get where she is now and well now she’s developing a new leaf😊🪴 So my advice is esp when dealing with an Alocasia like this is to be VERY patient esp when you have to a “big chop” on its leaves. It requires constant care and patience.

I am by no means an entomologist, so I’d love if anyone could tell me if this is a cricket or grasshopper. Not distressed to see them in my garden. Would just love to confirm what’s been visiting my flowers this week, and if any of the species in my garden might be attracting them. I currently have two lantana, calla lilies, and asiatic lilies in this bed, then two raised beds of asiatic and oriental lilies. TIA! 😊

Here is the latest update on my rings! The two on the top right of the outer ring, Purple Hearts and Aloe, might need to move to a bigger apartment. The watermelon ivy, bottom right outer ring, might need to move as well. It’s pretty hot out here in South Texas so I’m keeping them nice and hydrated.

Hi all! I have this ficus that over time has dropped its bottom leaves. It hasn’t produced new leaves at the top in a while, but it’s in healthy condition (not root rot etc). I’ve seen people saying to cut the stem under the leaves and put the top bit in water for root to develop and the bottom stem will end up produced new leaves at the nodes.
My question is, the bottom stem is a bit woody (as you can see in the picture). Could it still produce new leaves. What do you guys think :))

Happy Tuesday! It is the last day of June! What was your favorite part of having plants this month?
Brazillian Raintree
Hello all this is Bart and he's a brazillian raintree. He was repotted at the time of purchase and seems to be undergoing some intense transplant stress. It's also very hot and humid where I live so I'm trying to keep him in indirect light. Any advice on how to help him recover?

Hello, I live in Santa Fe, NM. My indoor plants are doing fine. Outdoors I am doing a new garden. However we have wildlife. Deer, bunnies, packrats. Any suggestions for colorful perennial plants with flowers? Thank you.

My daughter found this beautiful multicolored mini fittonia at my fav out of town nursery! It was labeled as a mini fittonia, but I haven’t come across this variety before.
Has anyone else cared for a mini fittonia? I’d love to hear your care tips or experience with it.
Is this considered variegated?
If you have one, I’d love to see it!
