My sister bought me a plant this weekend — I’m obsessed 😍 😍
My variegated string of hearts gave me some all-white hearts 🤍😊 (yes, that’s a crocheted heart in the background)
I need to expand my collection into more than just the few major types I go for. I’m thinking I’d like to try an alocasia if there are any that do well in medium humidity (40% range). I don’t have a single one. Any recommendations?
What’s the best way to care for an orchid? I’m in zone 6 and I have seen a lot of mixed things. Like the ice cube every week. Do they like light? I’m interested in getting one but want to make sure I can care for it first
look what my boyfriend bought me😭he’s the cutest EVER!! my little Winnie🥺
Finally have been able to expand my grow light collection, in my college apartment there is either not enough light or it’s too bright/hot and I’ll get so many burnt leaves 🥲 but yipee! Now my calatheas and monstera don’t have to suffer any longer and get their own light
Ahhh! Help why is it oozing. I just pruned this bonsai.
Looking for peoples opinions - liquid fertilizer vs pellets/stick/slow release fertilizers. Pros, cons, and your personal preference for your plants. I’ve always used liquid but am thinking about switching to slow release options just to make my plant care easier. Basically I’m sick of mixing batches of fertilizer every few days due to my plant collection size. Also, if slow release is your preference, do you have any plants you DON’T use it for and why?
Ahhh the silver bush my girlfriend brought me arrived wooo!! ALSO I JUST NOTICED THE BESSEAE X FORGE’S NEW LEAF HAS A FUSED SINUS WOOOO
Hello everyone, I have purchased so many plants that I am loosing living space and wanted to convert my TV stand into a functional indoor greenhouse. However most the information I have found online is about all glass Ikea greenhouses and only one wall of my TV stand is glass. Is it a bad idea because it’s wood? I have grow lights for the tops and sides and have portable fans to keep good airflow. Additionally, have glass plates that’s I will put rock and water in to increase the humidity. Attached a picture of my TV stand below.
My rubber plant has recently started to have significant leaf droop and I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? The leaves are not falling just drooping.
Why has my philodendron white knight put out such a tiny leaf?!
My monstera 😭 My beautiful thriving monstera has one new stem that seems rotted . I took a photo of surrounding area as well. When I poke around in the soil the roots seem ok but I didn’t want to disturb it too much (probably already made it upset). I pulled the rotted stem out and everything around seems ok to me? The plant came from a beautiful small plant shop and I’ve had it for multiple weeks. I watered the first time maybe a week or so ago (not sure) but all new growth has been fine. When I check the soil with a moisture meter, it’s on the dryer side of moist. Is she doomed? 😢
Hello, I just got a cyclamen, I’m going to keep it as a inside plant . I was wondering will it lose all its leaves during its dormant season? Or will it keeps all its leaves year round inside ?
Hello folks! I just started this hobbie a couple weeks ago due to my girlfriend bringing a beautiful pothos home, now i have 22 different indoor plants 🤭. I’d appreciate any advice you guys have for a beginner like me. Thank you in advance! God bless you!
Noticed my new monstera leaf and stem are dropping during the day but perk back up at night, is this common? Should I be worried?
