I know it’s relative to the plant, but what’s the average brightness for lights? Currently running two of these: LED Plant Growing lamp, 3000K Full Spectrum Grow Light Strips for Indoor Plants with 3/9/12H Timer & 10 Dimmable Levels, Led Growth Light for Green House Hydroponics Succulent I have this set up, and currently on high for about 10-12 hours, but I’m afraid to burn them and not bring them back. While testing, is it easier to heal from starting brighter and dim as needed or dim and brighten as needed? I have another stand ordered and it will be closer to a window so I can spread these out more!

hi 🩷 I just got a desk job and I want to have a plant on my desk! what would you recommend? something that needs little light and will be fine if I don’t touch it over the weekend! and nothing too big, just something small to make my desk all cute. here’s a picture of my pink princess philodendron lol

First time with a ‘string’ plant, would LOVE any healthy tips and tricks, got her today and she was overwatered, so immediately reported into more smaller and not as deep of a pot

This is my other shingle plant and it has failed to grow AT ALL since November, and the existing leaves are struggling. Please let me know what I can do to help this plant. Why is my other one growing long vines but this one hasn’t grown at all? Very weird as they are located in similar locations.

I got this plant back in November, and you can see the big healthy leaves from when I bought it. Since then the vine has continued growing but the leaves have been sporadic and very small in size. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

I grabbed this gal from a local nursery yesterday. Got it out of the tiny 2” round pot today but the roots are pretty wet and compressed! It seems pretty solid and doing well, but I don’t know much else about them. Should I let it dry out a bit before repotting it? It’s a peperomia dolabriformis

Looking for some advice on my cat palm! I did the diagnosis and it felt it needed new fertilizer. I got a new pot that wasn’t wider, but deeper (should have measured) and when I took it out last night I noticed that it was mostly roots? The bottom was very hard and from my research seemed “root bound” ? I ended up repotting into this white pot because it was a bit wider. I am going to get a bigger pot tonight again and I’m thinking I need to pull apart the roots to give them breath. Looking for any advice on the pot size and process of separating the roots. Should I cut them? Should I separate them? I don’t want to disturb the new growth. Thank you! This community is invaluable to me.

Identification help please. This is obviously and Arrowhead Plant but I cannot identify if it’s an original, “White Butterfly” or “Batik”. The leaves match the White Butterfly and Batik but Planta only had one pic of Batik.

Anyone have any tips or advice on rubber plants? I’ve been thinking of getting one but want to know a bit about it before I buy one. How much light does it need? Watering schedule? Is it easy to care for? Humidity needs? Etc. Thank you!!

My rubber tree has suffered a few falls and hasn’t had new leaves in awhile. She is putting out a new one now but she looks very leggy. Should I propagate her?

First time having a Angel wing and i need advice bad. I don’t want to her to die. I got her when my 19 yr old son was hit on his bike and died that was in November 2023 i got her in December. She isn’t growing and the leaves are not as pretty anymore any advice will help. Ty

Any advice on getting a BOP leaf to unfurl? How long does it usually take? I’ve tried wrapping it in a warm damp towel to stimulate humidity, on top of keeping a humidifier by her with no luck 😭

Is there a way to see old posts made by myself? I know I’ve asked something similar to this before but can’t find the post… Does anyone know when should I repot my strawberry seedlings? They seem to be growing fine but I think they’re too overcrowded and don’t want this to stunt their growth, so I’m debating repotting next week but unsure if it’s too early, I don’t want them to die🥺🌱

Could anyone help me identify this plant? These are facing our front door (we don’t have a garden, just shared grass/path with neighbouring flats) and one of the neighbours planted it a few years back so I’m unsure what it is? Google suggested it is white camellia? Also, how could I help revive it? All the flowers seem to be browning or falling off.. would love to see it healthy again🌱

Wow! My dieffenbachia amy flowered! I am so proud of myself for providing such good care! I didn’t even know this was a flowering plant until this happened! However, when the bloom opened the pollen really blew my eyes into allergy mode and it had an interesting smell, not bad, but STRONG! So she didn’t stick around long but there is another flower yet to open! Always exciting
