I’m going to a plant shop tomorrow and I’m wondering if anyone has any plant suggestions. The spot I’m planning on keeping the plant has a philodendron birkin, deiffenbachia, calathea (Calathea Freddie), spider plant, golden pothos, monstera albo, a maranta and a pink polka dot plant thriving and putting out consistent new growth each week. I’m not opposed to getting the same species as one of my current plants, but I’m also looking for other ones as well!
A makeup gift for my beautiful daughter, a beautiful Calathea. Does anyone know the type of Calathea? All the ones I see online are green
Hullo! Can anyone identify this shamrock plant type? I have an Iron Cross and found this little guy to compliment her. However, Planta keeps pulling up the purple oxalis! As always. Thanks for any input ☺️
Can you use LED lights for grow lights? I’ve heard conflicting opinions. Some say LEDs are just lights and others say it is a cheap alternative to grow lights. 🤷🏻♀️
Seeking Advice! I was gifted this plant 6 months to a year ago. I have no idea what it is as the tag was removed. From my research, it seems to be an Autograph Tree that has been grown in water instead of soil. I really like seeing its roots grow but I’ve seen websites say it is okay and it’s definitely not okay to grow the autograph tree like this. There’s plenty of new leaves that have opened within the last month but the lowest two leaves have started to get yellow tips (one site said that this could be caused by direct sunlight - is now in bright indirect light) I was just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice! This is my only hydroponic plant so any advice is welcomed! Thank you!!

What could cause the orchids leaf to turn yellow? I was also thinking of repotting it or at least removing the old orchid mix (haven’t changed it out since it was bought), but not sure if that’s the right move…. Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I think my silver squill is going thru root rot? Plants told me to repot her so I decided to just check the roots. I started to un tangle the roots and half of them fell off with the soil. But she’s had been producing 3 new leafs the past 3weeks. Should I place her in the same plastic nursery pot she’s been in or something smaller? (Used finger as scale ) Also I found a hard “root” (pic below) . Is this some type of baby or should I just throw it away?
Help, I am having a serious problem with my large Kalanchoe’s. I’ve had these for several years and they have thrived to the point I’ve given away 100’s of cuttings. I put them outside on my deck in the summer as I live in New Hampshire so they can’t stay outside all year. I’ve never had any issue with them except they don’t flower often. However this winter I started noticing on the 4 Large ones I have that the leaves have white dust on them. Two of the four have dropped 98% of its leaves but new shoots and leaves are starting. Can anyone tell me what the issue is and how to solve it??? I’m attaching a picture of one from last October and the same plant today. I so would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
Hello! I’m about to move into a temp living situation (my in-laws house) while our house is being built. There will not be enough space for all of my indoor plants. There are a few I believe I can place outdoors in the spring/summer. Would a small portable greenhouse be a good idea for the rest of the plants? There is plenty of yard and garage space. Not sure if anyone had any ideas or has had to something similar. Thanks in advance!
