Just brought this baby home, she’s a silver sword philodendron and she looks amazing. I’m naming her Luna šŸŒ™šŸ—”ļøšŸŒ± she’s around 2ft 8in and I got her for $34

My mom has had this plant my whole life. His name is Moses ā˜ŗļø. Any tips for propagating this? My mom thought it was a wild monstera but I’m thinking it’s a split leaf philodendron.

My pothos has been very unhappy with me… The leaves have been yellowing nonstop for a few months now. I just repotted it which was much needed, but that almost seems to have made things worse! Too much light possibly? This window is north-facing and doesn’t get direct light, but there is a grow light beside it for some other plants (see second pic, don’t worry about my Chinese money plant it’s just dramatic). I water it regularly, and started fertilizing again recently. The pot has drainage and I used a mix of orchid bark, perlite and moisture control soil (semi-chunky ratio) when I repotted last weekend. Why is it so sad? Is it lonely? Does it hate me? Did it hear about the election results? Any advice is appreciated because it’s becoming an eyesore!

!!GROW LIGHT SUGGESTIONS!! With winter rearing its ugly head in England, my plants aren’t receiving as much light as I think they need. Around 3 out of around 20 are doing really well still but the rest seem to be struggling and taking over 28 days for the soil to become even remotely dry again. I really want to get some grow lights before any other issues begin to arise. Does anybody have any suggestions of grow lights that they use and can be accessed in the UK. I tried to research online but there was so much to wade through and you guys are so much more helpful than google! As you can see below they still receive a fair amount of natural day light but London hasn’t seen the sun in a few weeks and I’m worried 😭

Somewhere I read something about using alcohol with neem oil. Can someone explain why there would be a need to use alcohol with neem? Does it make neem more effective? TIA.… šŸ¤—šŸ’ššŸŖ“

How long does everyone leave their grow lights on for?

I’m going to be leaving my plants for a short period, 😢😢😢, and I’ve tried several things to help with watering; nothing has been really satisfactory. So now I’m checking out a different avenue, and have several questions, that I hope some of you can answer: #1… What are your overall opinions in using self watering pots like this? #2… Are they reliable in keeping house plants moist, or do they keep your plants too wet? #3… Can they keep the tips of your moisture loving plants from drying out and browning? #4… Do you ever use these pots for your plants that like to get really dry before they are watered? TIA for any info regarding these self watering pots! šŸ¤—šŸ’ššŸŖ“

This is my first time using a moss pole. I have my Philodendron Splendid on it hoping to get bigger leaves. I got a lot of my products and ideas from watching Fern on YouTube. Any advice is really appreciated.

I’m looking into buying a new plant, does anyone have any comments on what I should get? PS sort of a beginner or new to plants I guess you could say so preferably something easy to care for.

What are these brown/ translucent spots from? Doesn’t seem like the normal yellowing leaves and I’ve been keeping an eye out for watering?

Added some bling to my succulent garden tower. Planted all these succulents from small cuttings in this second hand old store display shelf/tower about 2 years ago and it has filled out nicely and is starting to cascade over just as I imagined.

Any idea what these are? They're on my peperomia frost and die before doing anything.

Should I behead my ā€œMother of Thousandsā€? It’s gotten quite tall (about 3 feet). I don’t think it’s as a result of a lack of light because it was sitting in an east/south facing window and got plenty. When I moved it into even more direct light on my deck, the leaves burned. It just, for whatever reason, has gotten huge and very top heavy. It’s one of my favorite plants so I don’t want to ruin it, but not sure what the best plan should be.

My pride and joy has outgrown my lighting setup. To chop, or not to chop? That is the burning question.

Can anyone identify this plant? Google says euonymus. Apparently aka peperomia? It came in the bouquet my husband got me today for my birthday. Can I root a sprig? If so, how? Also check out this bouquet!! šŸ˜ Is this not the most beautiful arrangement you’ve ever seen?? 🄰
