Is talking about your lawn talking plants? Hope so. If not, here i go anyway: What i got is some type of basic non-drought tolerant grass i can’t be bothered to identify. What i would love is some kind of native California flowering ground cover i can supplement my lawn with. I’ve tried some kind of “EarthWise Seed Co.” wildflower mix that didn’t do shit besides add a little clover. If anyone has a lead on something they like, drop it here. Cheers.
Hello Everyone, by any chance do you know why my Peperomia Rosso has gone wobbly? It’s in great conditions.! I’m not sure if I need to repot it ?
Does anyone know what type of Caladium I have? Care tips also appreciated because I’ve never had one before.
What do you use to let your Syngonium climb? My albo has been growing and has some aerial roots started.. not sure whether she needs a moss pole, wood plank, etc. Please share pics if you have them!
On sale for $12.50 at Kroger I couldn't resist 🤷🏼♀️

How do I change the type of fertilizer I’m using in the Planta AI app? I’m now only seeing Liquid fertilizer and fertilizer sticks as my options when I had seen other options before. I’m using the slow-release granules.
So…anything about plants, eh? Anything?!?! Because according to Planta, marijuana/cannabis is not a plant, but poppies (opium), cocoa (cocaine), wheat, barley, and potatoes (alcohol), even tobacco are all acceptable. It’ll prompt one to download a separate app, Hampa. That’s kind of bullshit.
Here’s an update on my loquat seedlings that germinated from seeds! 🌱 Thinking about posting some to sell very soon since I have so many (25+) and I only want to keep no more than 5 of them. I didn't think so many of them would successfully sprout 😅 #loquat #seedling #forsale
Trellis Tuesday! Share your climbers! A stake, a trellis, a chopstick… whatever keeps them climbing 😍
Starting my plant journey. Any advice would be awesome. I live in Oklahoma near Oklahoma City. Not sure what region it is.
I was gifted a Dahlia that’s in bloom. I have not been successful supporting plants that live outside. It’s a really beautiful plant, and I’d like to give it a fighting chance. What do I need to know?
My Snow-in-Summer Jasmine was situated off the front porch for years. Giving me lovely whites & pinks in new growth and on trailing vines. It stopped doing that this year I heard that the tree foliage may have affected it, so it was moved to the back patio that gets part sun/part shade - heavier on the sun. Sadly, new growth is bronze colored. I just don't know what to do and this hurts. I have a couple of violets planted in with it - they are doing quite well & I hope their flowers are as expected. But, my beautiful Snow-in-Summer is no longer living up to its name. I don't have a full sun spot and I would really appreciate any help - and yes, a comforting message, too, at this point. 07/12/26 I added a photo of what she used to looked like. (I had used it as the background on my phone)
Money plant was getting too tall and leggy. It was over 6ft tall and I was ready to throw it out. I took a chance a month ago, and cut the whole thing back. If you have a money tree and don’t know what to do with it, here is proof it will grow back.
Do you have successful potted plants that don’t have drainage holes? Share in the comments!! No plant parent would recommend it, but sometimes it happens & (Jeff Goldblum voice) life uh… finds a way!
My pachyclada, Pachi, is gonna bloom, and it’s adorable. 😆 Got him 7ish months ago, and he was literally one leaf and a runner. He’s grown six leaves since then (which includes two little, tiny leaves at the base of the runner that you can’t see in the pics), and I was surprised to see that he had a small, little peduncle too! Haha… He’s a happy hoya! 🥰
Hey Planta Family I’ve been tilling for days! Anything I can do to ensure all grass roots are gone before planting to avoid coming back later?
How do spider plants thrive? I’ve tried all different light levels, watering when super dry or slightly dry, and I still have all crispy tips and fading color. It’s only in this direct light for the picture, otherwise in bright indirect light. Should I switch to distilled water?
Is there ANY truth to what I just saw on Google!?
