Hello, im just stepping in to my journey of house plants! I’m looking for some advice. Should I cut any of these crispy edges off, the whole leaf, or just leave it alone for now? I repotted a few days ago and now I’m just a little unsure what to do.

I have a Norfolk Pine that I feel needs more watering? But the app recommends for me to water in about couple days, even though the soil is dry. I’m not sure how to change the watering schedule or just leave it dry until the app recommends?
I need some help here friends, I’m debating if I want to try starting up a bonsai journey or start a bamboo journey. I tried bonsai before but the soil / seeds got moldy so I got discouraged. I’ve never tried bamboo. What do you guys think? As for a bonsai a standard pine style (if I’m saying it correctly) or a Japanese red maple would be fun to try. Thoughts? I already have a bonsai starter kit, wires, and soil for it along with the ceramic pot once it’s time.

Got a new baby today!!
I got this Alocasia Bisma today and noticed after buying it this one leaf has this splotch. It's one of the oldest leaves on the plant. Is this variegation or just damage? None of the other leaves have anything similar. If it's variegation, are there any ways I could encourage it to push out more variegated leaves?
This might be a dumb question, but when the Planta app tells me to fertilize…. I’ve just been squirting this in the soil. Am I supposed to be watering AND fertilizing? I’ve only been watering when it says “water.” Thanks for helping a newbie.
Hey plant friends! I’m wondering if it’s time to repot my ZZ plant. It’s growing well and has a few new shoots coming in (which is exciting!), but I want to make sure it has enough space to thrive. I’ve attached a picture. do you think it looks root-bound or ready for a bigger pot? Any advice on when and how to repot would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Prep for my first plant swap! I'm bringing a bunch of props I had on hand! Anyone have tips for swaps?
Got a new leaf on my calathea! So proud 🥲 It’s the shiny one towards the top! Also, I have a question regarding the other leaves. Does anyone know what those white specks are? They almost look like water spots dried on the leaves but I don’t let water dry on them ever

Aloe Vera and Snake Plant Care: Beginner Questions Hi! I have a snake plant and an aloe vera plant—one is my mom’s that I’m trying to save, and the other I bought from Walmart. I read that snake plants are succulents like aloe vera, so I used Miracle-Gro liquid fertilizer and cactus & succulent soil to repot them. I also checked for root rot, and they both seemed fine. I have a few concerns and questions: 1. Watering Confusion – Everything says to water when the top inch of soil is dry, but that seems too often. I did that for my aloe vera, and it started browning, so I stopped watering it. Now it’s been weeks since I watered, and it looks the same but droopy. How do I correctly determine when to water both plants? 2. Fertilizing – I used the Miracle-Gro liquid fertilizer but wasn’t sure if I did it right. I mixed some with water based on the instructions, but I feel like the amount should depend on how much water I use. How do I properly dilute and apply it? 3. Pot Size & Cramping – I read that snake plants like to be cramped, so I left it in its original pot. My aloe vera is in a steep pot, which I read they like, but I’m unsure if it’s too big, which might be causing overwatering. Could this be affecting its health? 4. General Aloe Vera Health – My snake plant is still green and has pointy spots at the top, which I read is a sign of health and growth. But I’m wondering if I'm doing something is wrong. I've done some research and watched videos, but I’d love to hear from someone with hands-on experience to make sure I’m on the right track. Also, apologies for the repeated question and not spaced out text, this is my first time making a post and it is very weird on my phone making one. 1. Should I be concerned? I repotted him but even before his owner stems had been much droopier than the top. Is this just normal and I will see the lower stems and leaves die off at some point?
Why is my money plant so bare? I have had it for over a year and even though it seems happy, the trunks are still very frail and it hasn’t filled out. Any suggestions/advice?
