Look 👀 at my Monty y’all it’s growing beautifully just since my purchase on May 9th., the one with moss pole is my original set up. Today I put it on a trellis because of the long stem that wants more room to travel. One leaf is the length of my hand 😍😍Looks like I may need to put it on a plank soon, what do y’all think?

This is my first nerve plant. I've had it for about 2 months. This may be a stupid question, is this tall stem a way of growing new leaves or does it "flower"? It just looks odd from the other leafy stems
UPDATE: My corn plant’s flower has fully emerged. Someone mentioned that they have a fragrance, but I did not smell anything. It is now 2 or 3 days since the flower blossomed, and this wonderful perfume is filling the air! Also, it releases the smell in the evening. I am so happy to know that I turned her well being around. I’ve had her for about 6 years, and she has been through a lot. She’s such a beauty.
Help! My mom has been taking care of this plant since 2020. Each app we use comes up with a different answer. Post below what you think it is! Let me know you think whether the end of the runner will flower?
this aloe is getting tall. how do I go about repotting/propagating?
Hello! So I just got this new plant! I can’t find this plant on the app. Could anyone help me find out what this plant is?
my petunia is suddenly floppy :( it was just super bushy and looked really nice but last night after i came home from work i found her like this :( i think i may have overwatered her bc when i stick my finger in the soil it’s still moist. Any tips on what else i can do to make her not so floppy? or do i just need to wait it out? Thanks!!!
Hubby got me a basil plant from the grocery store. I don’t have a great history with herbs. Looks root bound. Tips? Do I replant? I need a decent bit of basil for cooking this week. Any considerations with not over plucking?
Had my first ever pest problem. Mealy bugs, what fun!! My Moon Valley went from such a gorgeous little plant to just cuttings. Tore so many leaves trying to get the nastys out of all her crevices. 😪 Here's to hoping the cuttings will make it
I have a fiddle leaf fig that I got from Offer Up for 10$ 2 months ago. Since I’ve got it, it’s grown leaves that are 3x the size of the old ones. It’s leaning a bit and it also has these red spots on the leaves. Can anyone give me some recommendations on how to help with the leaning. I was thinking using a stake to help support it since I think the leaning is coming from it being top heavy with the new leaves. The red spots don’t seem like pests so I’m not too concerned but it’s my first time owning a fiddle leaf
I had a plantastrophy yesterday with my philodendron which I named Red. This is her before and after ! She is in recovery now. I taped the stems that bent so they heal correctly. Just wanted to share with everyone.
I have about 170 houseplants. (Seriously, lol). However, hubby says we need more color, maybe some flowering plants. 🤦🏼♀️ I have one space in a south facing window and space for a couple in low light situations. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi all! My mum bought me this bird of paradise from a local market today, I have never owned one of these so if anyone has any care tips please let me know! The soil was saturated and was so compact it was like concrete. It was extremely root bound and had a bit of root rot. I gave it a good clean and a repot (I usually like to leave them a few weeks before repotting but it needed to be done) I was just curious if the colour of one of the lower leaves and the reddish colour down the bottom of the plant is normal or is it something I should be concerned about? Thank you in advance!
Can anybody tell me what would be a good, and not terribly expensive PH meter to measure the PH for the fertilizing solution I use for my hydroponic plants? TIA!
How can I save my air plant?? I think I’ve been watering it to little and for not long enough.
Is 60°F too cold for avocado trees at night? Is 50°F fine? In the days it is about 70°F-80°F.
I think these might be aphids in my planter with these tiny pansies, but they’re so small I couldn’t be sure. I did see leaves that glistened, but couldn’t catch it with my camera. Later, when I enlarged my photos, it looked like these could be aphids. Are they APHIDS, for sure, and what is the best way to get rid of them? TIA!
I’m thinking about pruning my ficus, specifically the bare branch. Where should I cut it in an attempt to encourage new branches to grow?
Hi!! Does anyone know type of philodendron this is? I recently bought it at a big box store, and the tag says “philodendron”.
