Forgot what I honestly planted, looks to be a polka dot variation. Are these little guys big enough to be potted in a 2in pot now? There’s multiple in each square - do I repot them together or try to separate them? They seem so fragile I don’t know how I’ll even get them out of the seedling container šŸ˜… any advice welcomed TIA

Hey, can anyone recommend an indoor plant that’s good with no light?

Mushrooms are growing in my Chinese Evergreen. I’m told that means the soil is good(?). Do I just leave them?? I’ve never dealt with this before.

Hi all! Can someone help me with my Jade 🄹 She started having brown crispy tips on the very top leaves, and now she has black spots on her top leaves. She’s in a south facing window, in espoma succulent and cactus soil, and I water her when she is completely dry and then some. I will say she gets a LOT of sun during the day, so I’m wondering if she’s getting too much light? Please help my jade 🄹

I’m not sure what you’re a going on with my English ivy. I’ve had it for a while. It was under a grow light for 12 hrs but I recently moved it to a window. I am not sure if I’m watering it enough, but it hasn’t grow. Much since I got it and leaves are always turning brown.

Why are the tips of my crispy fern turning brown? It’s near a grow light that in for 12 hrs but it to the side so it doesn’t get direct light from it. I just moved it to a window yesterday.

Do you guys think my plants will okay here? I just moved all my plants over onto this new plant shelf yesterday. Most of these plants have been grown by a grow light. So I’m worried that they won’t thrive as well. It is in an east window. I put the grow lights over my succulents because they have been so picky about their light and I don’t want to lose any. Any tips appreciated! Thank you!

I started with 3 (almost dead) plant rescues on Jan 1. Now I have 27 various health plants. I’m worried about winter. All my plants are indoors, most with grow lights, and we keep a pretty constant temperature year-round. Can I just adjust the length of time with the grow lights as an indication of winter? I leave my grow lights on from sunrise to sundown so maybe where we get less sun in the winter time they’ll know that it’s winter?

Hi! I’ve had this plant since it was tiny. It’s now grown this one stem that’s super tall and top heavy. My question is do I leave it, add support, or chop? Any advice is appreciated!

Can anyone advise why my snake plant has grown a new leaf that’s superseded the original plant and why there’s a random thing green thing growing in the pot? The new tiny ā€œplantā€ is thin enough to wave from the breeze from my ceiling fan. It doesn’t look like a snake plant. And the main plant that has 3 leaves hasn’t really grown since I got it in April but now has grown another leaf that’s about 5 inches taller a than the original plant šŸ˜…

I live in Arizona and would like to plant some fruit trees in my backyard. Any suggestion for the best type of orange tree?

Returning from Long Travel + Plantsitting— What Do You Do? Ok y’all— my plants need some TLC, some of them need to be outright resuscitated, and I am setting aside all day Saturday to bring them back to life once and for all. (As much as one can anyway šŸ˜…šŸŒ±) Here’s the list of plants, problems, and what I believe the solutions might be: #1: The Roman Empire (monstera deliciosa my beloved)— I’ve had this poor child for almost a year and she’s been struggling for over half of it. Lower leaves are curling and drooping, yellow and eventually brown discoloration in many parts of the leaves, and has appeared for a while to be infested with mealybugs or some kind of pest along those lines. A couple leaves are doing fantastic (there’s a baby leaf with signs of some beautiful fenestration unfolding as we speak). I think it’s time to chop and prop but I’m scared she won’t bounce back if I do it wrong. I’ve tried neem oil and repotted once with all new dirt, rinsed off the roots and they looked fine, and have yet to give the poor little one a moss pole because I don’t want that to also be infestable material. Thoughts? Can she be saved? šŸ›ļøāš”ļøšŸ“ #2: Byzantium (boston fern)— this poor guy. This poor poor little guy. I left him at my apartment over the summer and had several people rotate watering responsibilities, but naturally this was not a thriving time for him since there were some irregular intervals between waterings. Mold in the top of the soil, leaves are looking a little crispy and brown. I think the solution here is repot and make sure I reset his water regimen so he’s not being traumatized in either direction. šŸ‘‘šŸŒ“šŸŽØPlease correct me though if i’m wrong because I very well might be lol #3: Truth, Justice and the American Way (tradescantia my beloved)— he’s mostly ok but very tall with a lot of leaves partially dried out, for the same reasons as the others. ^ His soil looks fine, he’s just unsightly at the moment. šŸ”®šŸŖšŸ Remove the brown leaves, chop and prop to fill him out more? #4: Juliet (golden pothos my poor tragic beauty)— I’ll cut to the chase, her dirt is MOLDY. And she’s lost a lot of leaves to underwatering-related crispiness. It’s been a hard time for miss juliet. Is there a mold solution that doesn’t require all new dirt? šŸ’ŽšŸ šŸŒŠ I know that’s a lot, so thanks for reading this far! How have you handled returning from travel and resuscitating neglected plants? Did you ever feel like your plants fully recovered? (Did they forgive you šŸ‘€)

Variegation or no? This is my elephant ear plant that recently sprouted again thankfully. It was in very direct Texas sun which caused it to die. (Ik shame on me 😬) But the new leaf sprouted whitestripes. What do y’all think?

I think this is a watermelon money plant ? Correct me if I’m wrong … but it is my favorite plant right now because I’ve successfully propagated it and it’s been sprouting lots of babies since I moved it into soil 🄰 my concern is there are like 10 fruit flies in the soil at all times :( I’ve been spraying it with neem oil but it hasn’t helped . Any tips or tricks ? Thanks in advance 😁

Hi everyone, this is my first pink quill and it looks like I’ve got some new growth! Should I cut off the old flower so it can focus on its new growth or just leave it? If it’s recommended I cut it off, should I cut it at the top or the base? Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!

There are a few brown tips on my spider plant, but I also noticed a few of these that look semi-cut. Did I do that by accident?! Or is this a pest?
