Hey everyone, not about a specific plant I just need to fact-check. I heard that with part-sun-loving plants, the best thing to do with grow lights is give them 4-6 hours. Is this correct? What have you found success doing?

Added a "Cathedral" begonia to my collection. 😍 Have zero recollection of where I first saw or heard about these begonias, but I remember it being love at first sight! They're so unique and gorgeous, and their leaves look like stained glass (hence the name lol). Was able to find a seller, and it arrived yesterday! Side note: pulled the last pic from the National Gardening Association's site to show what it'll look like when it matures. ☺️

Trying to identify my Croton. 🤔 I’m trying to identify this variety of Croton. It’s either a Petra or a Pictum? Any thoughts?

I have morning glories I am growing from seeds. When they start blooming, how much can I sell them for? This was them on June 11th, 2026. They are now being supported with sticks to climb and lean on. I have 11 sprouts in total.

Can anyone identify my begonia? I bought this begonia from a nursery, but it was labeled as a Rex Begonia. I have several different varieties of “Rex begonias.” Can anyone identify which begonia this is? Does anyone have a similar plant? Thank you.

Hi, I am just returning to this app and I just can’t find anything regarding a customer service link or post area. Can anyone point me to questions about the app or membership?

for my friends who are looking for an update on my orchid experiment: unfortunately, she has died. i caught it too late and the crown began to rot, and she was simply too small to save. HOWEVER, i have taken the opportunity to instead purchase an orchid native to my area for better luck and this experiment will be resuming shortly. i am now too dedicated to finding out if i can manage a completely epiphytic plant

Has anyone used support poles/trellis for small pot (6in) of Syngoniums? If so, can you share pictures?

Hi, I have a rubber ficus who I believe has been suffering from overwatering. The older leaves (towards the bottom) have started turning brown. The soil is also still pretty damp after about 2 weeks of watering. I currently have it out of the pot and attempting to air dry. Is there anything else I should consider to help it? I’m also moving it so that it’s in a spot where it gets better light

Is it possible to grow lettuce using a vertical planter in the shaded portion of my balcony? **Disclaimer, I’m VERY new to gardening.. Sorry for any silly questions** I live in UT, zone 6b/7a. I’m dying to add some lettuce to my mini porch garden & found a vertical planter on FB marketplace.. I was thinking of putting it in the shaded part of my balcony that gets very little direct sunlight in the summer. Would this work..? Putting different varieties of lettuce in the different levels? …Are the planter boxes even big enough..? Are there certain lettuce varieties I should aim for/ avoid..? Hopefully romaine is still in the mix..? 🙂 So many questions… Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you, plant friends! 😊
