Recommendations for getting this corn plant back to a manageable size? It’ll likely be moved to a room without high ceilings. It is too top heavy anyways. Pot is about 1 foot deep.

hi all! pictured is my semi-regular (especially in the winter, if we get a sunny day) sunshine bath for all my indoor guys who get bright but indirect light. does anyone else do this, and what are your tips if so? i just kinda leave them out there all misted up to prevent them from getting too dry, then take them inside when i notice they start to look a little baked. i’ve noticed they perk up and sometimes the ZZ plants sprout new sprigs after!

Recommendations needed!! My mom had this plant (I believe it’s a dragon tree) and completely neglected it for almost a year. She gave it to me to try to revive it, so I gave it fresh soil as the old soil was molding. My cats got to it and chewed most of the leaves that were still healthy or just sprouting, so it looks really rough! I’m wondering if I should just trim the chewed leaves and keep waiting to see what happens, or if I should clip the stem and propagate/start over? I’m fairly new to owning plants and I’ve certainly not tried to revive one! Also, my cats are fine🤪

Hi! Phil here has started to get pretty leggy at the bottom. Is there anything I can do to make him less leggy? Should I clip off the leggy bits to propagate? Any advice is appreciated!

How many of you, whenever you water, use liquid fertilizer?

I have two different types of elephant ears: Black Coral and Maui Gold. How do you guys take care of them? I am seeing mixed things about both the types. I know they don’t like to be watered a lot. This site says water them once a week or every 5 days. How big of a pot do you plant them in? Is it an inch bigger or 1/2 an inch? What? Do they like to be in sunlight? Direct? Shade? This site said they like partial sun/shade and they like the temp to be 59-90 degrees. Any information and advice helps! TIA!

Any advice on how to turn this offshoot (Little Sharon) into a strong plant? Shes struggling. Idk what will help her. She is in a solo cup with holes, miracle grow potting soil, covered back porch, east facing diffused light. I didn’t dip in growth hormone, as suggested on Google.

Anyone know if you can remove the automatic timer on plant lights?

Putting this in water was my best decision so far. I had no growth for 3 months

I have a Ficus Altissima(?), and I’m anxious about what I need to do next to keep it healthy and growing. History - 3 years old, came in a 6” planter, and has never been repotted; roots haven’t come out of the bottom. - 1 year ago, the top snapped off in a freak accident along with a few leaves attached.Since then, shoots have sprouted from the main stem in multiple directions - It’s now ~3 feet tall, still in a 6” pot. The main stem doesn't seem to be getting much thicker, even though it's getting taller. It's leaning to the side due its height and the top-heavy imbalanced offshoots. Questions - Given my repotting neglect and the the additional sprouts at the top: - Should I repot in an 8” or go bigger? How aggressively do I need to untangle the roots for this kind of plant after 3 years without repotting? - Should I try to propagate with cuttings from the top of the plant to reduce the risk of the entire plant getting sick(?) if I repot it poorly? - Should I tie it to a stick to keep it from leaning too much? Thanks in advance!

Evening, my Dionaea muscipula (Venus fly trap) has white bits in the soil that seems to be mould. I’ve only recently bought it and when I bought it, I was charged very little as it was severely dehydrated in the garden centre. I was planning on repotting soon but hoping to revive it a bit more so it’s stronger for the transfer. The pot it came in has drainage holes with the roots poking out the holes into another pot. I’ve read before that this is for putting water in the outer pot for the roots to drink from rather than the soil so this is what I’ve done over the last week or two. Is this correct? Should I repot now and change soil? Is there any way to treat the mould? Thank you!

Hello! My monstera deliciosa has some brown tips. I think it means it needs more humidity, so any ideas on how to make the driest climate humid?

Help! My money tree just lost this leaf by the touch. I’m following the watering instructions but the soil is pretty dry, could that be the cause? It’s also near a south facing window and I’m scared it’s not getting enough sun.. also any other tip for a money tree could help (I got two for my birthday and I’ve just been keeping plants for a year now, not an expert). Also found a little bug, looked around fruit fly, crawling around in the soil of one and couldn’t find it again to remove it, should I be worried? Anything helps lol
