Excited to be a Tillandsia Ionantha Rubra mama!! 🎍🌱🥰 I got them on Amazon from the “air plant shop” and they came from Guatemala! Two of them are flowering and one of them looks like it might soon! Any tips from the pros? I’m kind of nervous since I killed the last air plant I had (left in water when I left the house😅)
Saffron shoots. It's the wrong time of year in my area but my silly butt ordered corms from the Netherlands... They should self correct by this fall but I think I might get early blooms in my controlled climate tent!
Hi there So my rose bush finally growing! But do I need to prune it?? it’s growing to the right?? Picture below…
Scindapsus Geulis. I’m really liking the variety in the variegation patterns. I do think it’s getting a bit too much light as it’s near the top in my grow tent. Going to move it to lower light when I extend the pole to get more of marble coloring from the lower leaves vs the GOG / Aurea on the top leaves.
Hey all. I got this for my birthday and I can’t figure out what it is. Any guesses? It’s from a local nursery.
Is this a Rex Begonia? Bought it with a tag saying Curly Ficus… but I believe that’s wrong.
Happy spring planty friends! What houseplants are my friends in zone 7 putting outside for the season?! Me personally, I’m excited to get my mess of a Tradescantia outside! 😂

Help! I got gifted these lillies (or at least that’s what I think they are 😂🫣) last week Sunday, I went on holiday and this is what I came back to last night. Can anyone help with advice please or it’s too late? 😭😭 Thank you in advance for your help!
My first aloe is a big girl. $13 Home Depot score. Here she was inside on a cold night.
Don’t know what is going on with my jade. Leaves are falling off. The leaves have a weird texture. Am I going to lose it or is it salvageable.
So my impulses took over and I jumped right into plant ownership. Most of these were bought online from live auctions and Etsy. Hoping I haven’t bit off more than I can chew! Alocasias 1. Hello, I have a total newb question if that’s ok, I have just started gardening after being super afraid for the past 40 years and have zero idea what I am doing… Having said that I brought a beautiful Neon Robusta home and repotted her in a self watering terracotta pot. Again I know nothing except what I have researched and the two apps I have tell me, but for some reason I think it’s not the right thing for her. Could someone let me know if she needs something different? Thanks in advance. Lil

Are red leaves on my Christmas cactus something to be concerned about? I’ve heard red leaves can be due to too much sunlight, under watering etc, but the leaves on the pictures I’ve seen are a different look to mine? Wondering if it’s about to bloom or if it’s a cause for concern? Thanks in advance :)
Hello fellow planters! I don’t really have a green thumb but would like to be one. I had a plant pass last year due to overwatering and a too big pot. Ive gotten a new plant and started it in a smaller clear plastic container and the roots are starting to poke out the bottom. Do I replant in a bigger cup/pot? Any advice would be appreciated I don’t want another over issue where the pot was too big or small. For reference its on a 4 in clear plastic cup.
Hii! l'm a new plant owner and I think I'm failing! I got my polkadot plant (Named her Regina) back in March this year and she grew super leggy i trimmed her back and shes been looking like this since. Is there any saving her?
It seems like I used to be able to suggest plants to Planta that weren’t in their database. Did I make this up or just forgot where to find it? I have so many Epipremnums and most aren’t in the database.
