I transplanted two indoor plants today. 😁 This time, I transplanted my Sunny because it was quite evident she had outgrown her very tiny nursery pot. Here’s how I did it. 😊

I’m new to caring for indoor plants, so there’s a lot for me to learn. Today I bought a Rubber Tree Burgundy (Ruby), but noticed that her soil was already compacted in a tiny container, and she had lots of roots. 🙁 Normally, I wouldn't have made any changes, but I suspected she needed additional soil to help her grow. So, I decided to transplant her. 😁 I’m crossing my fingers 🤞 that she thrives while adjusting to a new container and my home at the same time. I put her in a larger nursery pot and then placed her in a decorative pot with a drip tray inside it. Here are pictures of my process.
A few weeks ago I added a Rubber Tree “Tineke” to my collection. Today I added her sister “Ruby” to my collection. So happy! 😊🍃
Is this her first new leaf with me?!?! I just noticed this today when I went to clean her leaves😄😄😄
My daughter loves me and knows me so well 😍 totally going on the front door!
Yesterday I was checking my plants as usual and thought the big leaf in the center was a dead leaf. I was wrong. When I pulled the leaf out, it had this white thing the size of a marble on the end and was attached to the two leaves at the side. It also had a small root coming off the bottom. Panic ensued … but I was able to put it back in a small pot pictured below. What was the thing on the bottom? Plus is there a chance of survival? 🫠
Leaving a local plant event. Six new plants. Two blocks of plants and food vendors.
One of my favorites sucking up some sunshine!
Any plant pairing recommendations for this gasteria? I just repotted him to this massive yellow pot, using succulent indoor soil mix. But I would love to add a second succulent to the same pot, preferably something that hangs, to justify the size of the pot. If it hangs over front, it will somewhat hide the blaring yellowness of it. 😆 (From the angle of this photo, the pot doesn't look like too big. But trust me, it is huge 🫣)

Hi all, what can I do about this rubber plant? She recently gave me a new shoot at the bottom but since doing so has given up on the rest of the plant and has started to droop and is browning quite badly front top to bottom in the original plant. What’s my best options to save her?
How do I change the location/ meaning my zip code ? I bought the app on a trip and it’s still showing where I don’t live.
I have changed some plants to hydroponic and some plants say ‘top up water’ whereas others just say water! Why is this??
Hey everyone, not about a specific plant I just need to fact-check. I heard that with part-sun-loving plants, the best thing to do with grow lights is give them 4-6 hours. Is this correct? What have you found success doing?
Already rooting!!! I was definitely rooting for you! ☺️♥️
Added a "Cathedral" begonia to my collection. 😍 Have zero recollection of where I first saw or heard about these begonias, but I remember it being love at first sight! They're so unique and gorgeous, and their leaves look like stained glass (hence the name lol). Was able to find a seller, and it arrived yesterday! Side note: pulled the last pic from the National Gardening Association's site to show what it'll look like when it matures. ☺️
And FIRST PRIZE for plant chore day! These babies were neglected all week and there’s more to do, but look at her!
thai constellation monstera has been growing great for a couple of months until this new growth didn’t unfurl properly and turned brown and yellow. anybody know what’s up with it?
Can someone help me with this Cape Leadwort? Lol I genuinely have no idea what I’m doing 😭
Trying to identify my Croton. 🤔 I’m trying to identify this variety of Croton. It’s either a Petra or a Pictum? Any thoughts?
