My Fiddle-leaf/Ficus lyrata, I don’t know the difference.. It’s been like that for 3 years!! No extra leafs on stem, just this looong space between the top and the bottom. Any tips on how to break its stagnate state? I thought about doing a cutting..👀

Need a little advice for my first pencil cactus. She’s a few years old; we’re Texas Zone 9B so she must come in for the winter, where she shares a grow light and a couple windows with a few other cacti who seem happy. Appears to be LOTS of new growth this year (almost a foot!) but would we call this etiolation since the main stem is the same diameter bottom to top and there really are no spindly arms (just one that was closest to the wall)? Or is it? Seems like she’d be a little more tangly looking at this point. Plan to repot here in a couple days but should I behead her? She’ll live out in the yard til November in her usual spot. But I want to give her the best chance at her best life! TIA!!

Can you all share how you display your standlyanas (aka monstera cobra)... I feel mine is quite unruly and I dont know what to do with her so she looks good. I think i may attempt to let her vine across my big window..Id love to see how others have theirs. Pretty please. This is mine currently before I put back in the window. She almost 7 feet long 😳

I am in the process of trying to purchase a Cast Iron plant. What are your thoughts about this plant? If you have advice, please share. Also, please post pictures of your plant. I am new to indoor gardening.

So, Planta just told me to water my new split rocks!!! Pretty sure I recorded doing it only a few weeks ago…waaaayyyy too often for this type of plant! Is Planta broken about this?

Morning, all! I just woke up to seeing one of my Alocasia’s leaves collapsed. 🥹🥀 It’s the Oldest leaf (I adopted it with that one leaf only a year ago.) Is this normal? Leaves looks healthy to me, well fed and watered too. Should I cut it now, or leave it? Thanks!

My little Stella is very sick! She obviously has a terrible case of black spot, which I’m treating. However, when I took her out to spray in the sunshine today, my eye caught some webbing. In taking a few pics, I noticed some teeny spider like critters on her leaves. HELP! What are these, and how transmissible are they to my other plants that are on the same table?

Looking for advice. I'm thinking about giving this girl a chop. Her stem is a bit wonky on the bottom. The lower leaves are droopy and losing color recently. She has multiple pups coming up too. She sits in a Southwest facing window and gets a good amount of afternoon sun. Thoughts? Suggestions? Best practices for chopping/trimming?
