What is this powdery stuff on my peace Lily?
After over two years in his same nursery pot 😬, Uncle Fig finally graduated to a bigger pot! 🙌🏽 Biggest tip I learned for these bad boys (some may disagree) is to not disturb or disrupt the root ball when repotting - simply put him in a slightly larger pot with fresh soil on all sides, then let him be. 🌿
Hi! i’m wondering if anyone knew what this is in my soil i’m putting new dirt in a lot of my plants most of them had it under the dirt so i couldn’t see it. this it the only plant that has it at the top and im not sure what it is:((. all my plant look and are pretty much healthy, im not sure if it the soil that im using. please help🥲
my bird of paradise has been growing lots of new leafs and is very green and happy. however, these yellow mushrooms showed up! is that okay? thanks in advance
What kind of wall planters do you use, and how do you water them? I want to do something like these photos, but I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to fully water the plants and provide drainage, especially since the plant would be attached to the wall so I can’t just take it down. Thank you! 😊
I just “potted-up” a number of my plants; aloe, prayer plant and Persian ivy. Should I be giving them a thorough watering even though its not their “day” to be watered?
Hello!! If anyone could tell me know any care tips or anything about this plant that would be greatly appreciated!! I believe it is a calathea and that it needs to be watered fairly often.
Anyone know what this is? I’ve had it for a while now and it just trails and trails. It reminds me of a monstera with how the nodes look and how big the leaves get.
Need help identifying this little guy!
New plant Philodendron Ring of Fire 😍 Oh and Houston has a Plantcon coming up in a month. 👌🏾
I just bought two new plants from a nursery and was wondering how long i should wait to repot them? and water?
Saved these two babies from Walmart today! Gave lots of TLC and they’re definitely happier now. These photos are what they looked like once I got them home before any love was provided! I can’t wait to see how they grow and mature 😌
I’ve had these cutting since Christmas why haven’t they grown roots?
This is my ficus Audrey. The bottom older leaves tips are turning brown and yellow. They even look like they are drying out. The plant itself is not even 2 feet tall. The top leaves are looking great. They’re bigger than the other ones. It’s in a south facing window. I’m not sure what’s going on so if someone can help me? Is this normal? Thank you for all of your information.
This is the perfect example of why I don’t ever recommend wick and water or self watering pots! Saved 3 plant babies from my local Walmart today. More updates to come! 😌
is a moss pole recommended for this plant? it’s growing like weeds
Does anyone know how Planta’s liquid fertilizing tasks work? It tells me to fertilize with water (which is essentially watering the plant) but then might tell me to water later on. How does this work?
Hey planters, I just bought a levoit smart humidifier for my room since it runs dry (~35%). Though my plants are tolerating the low humidity and occasional misting, they're not thriving, so anything above that to me is a huge plus. My humidity target is 55% (don't want to worry too much about mold) but I also want to be cautious about saving electricity and water, so I'm wondering if it's okay to turn it off completley when I'm asleep. Tested it yesterday and it reduced by ~12% overnight. Is this too much a drop and will my plants be stressed with this daily environmental change? TL;DR: If my humidity fluxuates between 40-55% daily is that too big a change and will my plants get stressed? Thanks!
