Hi guys, my plant has some lines on some of the branches should I be worried? It doesn’t look like it could be a pest.

Just got my first shipment from Rare Plant Fairy. Received 12 plants, amazingly packaged, that I ordered from one of their auctions on Palm Street. Several of the plants shown are ‘reverted’, meaning they have the potential to put out their original cultivar, but have reverted back to their normal form for now at least. I got - 1x Alocasia Frydek Albo variegated (my favorite with the all white leaf) - 2x Alocasia Frydek Albo variegated, reverted - 1x Anthuriam andraeanum hybrid, reverted (flowering!) - 1x Monstera adonsonii variegated, reverted - 1x Monstera deliciosa Thai Constellation (finally) - 1x Philodendron Jose Buono - 1x Philodendron hederaceum variegated heart leaf, reverted - 1x Syngonium podophyllum Green Splash - 1x Syngonium podophyllum Aurea - 1x Syngonium angustatum variegated - 1x Gymno cactus

Struggling with root rot. I know the signs with mushy roots and stuff but is this the start of root rot? It doesn't easily just rinse off but I'm able to scrape it. First pic is what I'm talking about, second pic is scraping some off and in the second pic, the root on the very left is scraped completely off including the light brown under the darker soil/rot. The black on the roots are not slimy or mushy, it kind of looks like soil/coco coir kind of look (like, it's textured but not in an alarming way). I just think I get too scared of cutting off too many roots and I leave too much infected root when I repot my other plants. (I already cut off any rotting roots with this plant, just wanting some clarify if I need to scrape all this crap off)

If I have a regular common spider on my plant do I need to spray it with neem oil? It’s probably impossible to see. I don’t see signs of stress

Is there a way to save my air plant? I was trying to remove a leaf that had dried and the roots came off of the main plant in the process D: This is my first air plant and I’m not sure if I can save it now :(

Hey everyone! I want to get some plants for my friend. Lately that is all she has been talking about! The only problem is that she has all north facing windows. Does anyone have any suggestions of plants that thrive there? Thank you in advance!!

Hello! I have this fiddle leaf fig that has not put out new leaves in a very long time. I had seen lots of videos about chopping fiddle leaf figs to promote new growth. Should I chop mine? If so, will it do ok without all its leaves? And where should I chop it? How low? Should I move it back inside? She’s been outside for about 2-3 weeks. I haven’t seen any change since moving her. Please help, I want her to thrive!

Question for all planty people! đŸ’šâ˜˜ïžLet’s share our success and failures. How many plants have you all killed, saved, and kept thriving at this point of your plant career? I’ll go first. I’ve killed 5 plants, I’m attempting to save 2 plants, and so far 7 plants are thriving for me!

I know it’s relative to the plant, but what’s the average brightness for lights? Currently running two of these: LED Plant Growing lamp, 3000K Full Spectrum Grow Light Strips for Indoor Plants with 3/9/12H Timer & 10 Dimmable Levels, Led Growth Light for Green House Hydroponics Succulent I have this set up, and currently on high for about 10-12 hours, but I’m afraid to burn them and not bring them back. While testing, is it easier to heal from starting brighter and dim as needed or dim and brighten as needed? I have another stand ordered and it will be closer to a window so I can spread these out more!
