I’ve noticed this sort of milky film on all my propagations this week. Not sure what it means and if it’s normal or not, and if I need to change anything. Below is what I’ve been doing
-Distilled water, changing Wednesday’s and Saturday’s
-few drops of hydrogen peroxide
-couple drops of root drops in water
Appreciate the help!

My snake plant seems to be doing great, but there is one bad leaf. What should I do with it?

I am not looking to put this Manjula on a moss pole. I have several hanging baskets of Epipremnum varieties in my office.
Any tips to encourage trailing growth? I add 1/2 strength liquid fertilizer to every watering.
However....I do love that bigger leaf in the middle!

Hi everyone! Just bought this at my local Home Depot and I would love some advice as what to do next. Do I keep it in the pot it was in or repot? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve got a mushroom growing in one of my spider plants! I’m going to remove it. A weird but nice surprise this morning!

I have north and south facing windows. Self watering? Any advice is welcome please 🤗

Okay, friends. I think I can jump to the next level and go from beginner plant mom to intermediate (whatever word you want to use lol).
I have (and am keeping alive) a pothos, syngonium albo, string of hearts, aloe, zz plant, heart leaf philodendron, and a spider plant.
What next?? 🌱

I tried to grow mimosa pudica from seed TWICE and they never germinated despite planting half the bag of seeds each time. So I gave up and mixed the old seed starting mix into my soil mix. LO AND BEHOLD! What do I find while watering my potato baskets?
A sensitive plant. More like a STUBBORN plant. I had to touch it to make sure I knew what I was seeing.
And of course he was rooted DEEP so I only got one viable root when I *carefully* pulled him out so now he’s propagating in a shot glass with rooting hormone in my plant rehab to think about what he’s done.

So, while I wait to do my plant care, I come to you as a first time orchid owner. I just received one this week as a gift and I have no idea what to do with it. The leaves are concerning - dull, browning, not as firm as I think they should be. Do I keep it in its pot for now and see if anything improves with regular care? I know not to use the ice cube watering method and not to cut the stems once the flowers fall. That is about the extent of it, so anything you can share with me is greatly appreciated!
