I would like to get some more plants only issue is this will go just outside my living room and there isn’t direct sunlight (15 feet from window). I would also like to get some plants for my kitchen maybe some I could put on top of my cabinets or near the sink there is no sunlight in the kitchen. I am a beginner to plants, does anyone have some good suggestions on what plants to get?

One of my very large hanging pothos n’joy’s stems was looking a little sad. I shopped off the stem and kept the good parts. Each stem has 2-4 nodes on it and some have a few leaves. I I’m planning on waiting a day or two for the wound to heal them propagating them. Anyone have more luck with soil or water? And if I do soil how deep shoudl I plant the stem and shoudl it be under the soil? And for water should I add leca? Also if anyone has any general pothos propagation tips please share. Thank you in advance!!!

In official panic mode . My monstera was starting to grow roots outside her pot and waiting for her new pot to come in . I put some soil on top of her roots and notice this , anybody knows what it is and what I can do to fix it ?

I was wondering if anyone had grown Caladium from bulbs? Is it difficult? I found some beautiful ones on Amazon and I'd like to give it a try.

Hey there! First time posting. My apartment has a recessed balcony. The balcony is about 8ft deep before it reaches my south facing window. Should I be measuring for distance of my plants from my window from the window itself, or from the front of the balcony? See 3 attached pictures for details. (Excuse the currently messy balcony 😅)

Update on my plant! I think I may have the species wrong, though (per the app- it doesn’t seem to think the species I input is real or something…) I’ve moved the 2 bulbs where the leaves are growing from into seperate temporary pots while I make some ceramic (stoneware) pots for them. Any advice about these plants would be welcome as I got this off my sister and have no idea about anything to do with this plant!!

This is my brasil/heart leaf philodendron. I’ve been busy and stressed so I didn’t keep up with watering my plants much and it used to have mold so that’s why it might look sad. I noticed this tiny leaf and realized that the stripe seemed pink and so did the stem it came off of. The underside of the leaf was even more pink/red. Why is this happening?

I got these little guys about a month ago at a plant swap but they had no identity tags with them. So I need your help so I can add them into the app. Thanks for the help

Good afternoon, everyone ☀️ I recently picked up three new houseplants and I’m struggling to name them. The first two are Hoya krohniana, and they’re quite similar, so I was trying to think of two names that could go as a pair, whether that be alliteratively, a good name set for twins, or something to allude to the splashes of white on their leaves, which kinda makes me think of snow. I’m really stumped with those two, so TIA to anyone who can help me name them. The third one is a watermelon dischidia which I’m debating over naming Miles or Milo, so feel free to give your two cents about which name I should pick for that one. TIA!
