My spider plants got repotted into a chunky soil mix so letting soil dry out a little bit before putting water into the self watering pots as soil was moist going in. Also added a humidifier and the grow light and they look like they are getting better any advice should I trim the dead growth now or wait till I go to rewater? The old soil I put them in was due to no nursery pot coming with them so had to think fast. Now they r in 2/1/1/1/.5 mix 2 part coconut coir 1 part potting soil 1 part perlite 1 part orchid bark .5 part horticultural charcoal

Quick question, where should I cut this plant so that leaves grow lower on the plant??

Hey guys! It’s my first time posting so I apologize in advance for any mistakes and appreciate any feedback y’all can give me. I went home from NC to GA for a long Christmas. I watered my prayer plant the day I left, and it went about 3 days past its next watering because nobody had a key to get into my apartment. It was flourishing before I left and now it looks like this :( This plant was a 2024 Christmas gift from my dad and I’d be devastated to lose it. Any advice? Thanks!

Plant ID help, please! Gemini and ChatGPT are both giving me different answers. It’s either a pothos or a philodendron, but I don’t know how to tell them apart. Or is there more than one plant in this pot?

Hi! I am looking to grow my collection by quite a lot in the future but I am a little worried about upkeep so anyone who thinks they can help even a little I would love to hear from you! A few of my specific questions: . If you have a large collection, how do you keep them clean/ dust free . Any tips or tricks/ things you wish you knew sooner that help your plants thrive . People with super large collections (like 100+) what does your daily/ weekly routine look like, how do you keep it organized and manageable . What are your favorite products (grow lights, fertilizer, etc) I would also love just any helpful words of encouragement or advice! Thank you in advance!

Best wishes to everyone on this first day of 2026! I would like some tips and advice on keeping moss poles moist. Posted photos of the three philos: brasil, silver sword and a paraiso verde. I've tried daily misting, but found it way too time-consuming and didn't seem to really work except getting everything around the plants wet too. Now, I've switched to a bottle and drip method, it's better but I wonder if there's some easier way.

Ok plant friend need your advice.. one of my peace lilies I believe got a little cold draft from my window and now looks sad.. will it eventually bounce back? It sits on my plant stand with the others and with a humidifier m.

Came home to my ZZ plant tonight and was looking at it and noticed one stem is bent. Is it ok do we think?

Does anyone else have a Christmas berry? I was gifted this a couple weeks ago and been looking up care tips, but I’m finding things that conflict with Planta’s care plan. Some sources say to keep moist and never let the soil dry up; Planta says to wait until FEBRUARY to water him again. I’m inclined to think it’s actually the app wrong because the tippy-top new growth wilts then bounces back when I give it water. How do you all care for yours?

Promised my husband after this no more plants for the rest of the year. That was after I had this dieffenbachia crocodile in my cart.
