What’s the logical thing to do when you get your tax return?! Buy a plant, two different grow lights and a new humidifier! šŸ˜

Hi everyone. My friend got this cutting but forgot what it is. Any ideas? It came with a bunch of inch plant cuttings. Thanks in advance, plant friends!

Hey guys :) I just started a little herb garden and I’m the worst with plants (hopefully this app helps me not overwater) Sorry in advance if these are silly questions <3 First my rosemary just got repotted two days ago into a bigger pot as it was crowded and this is the only pot I had - it’s now feeling a little droopy and sad and not perky. Is it something I did? I didn’t drench it when I first repotted it because it was already watered at the nursery that day. I also read they like to be neglected and dry a bit so I’m thinking maybe I just let it adapt and try not to mother it so much? The soil is damp about a knuckle under the surface but the little guy looks thirsty :( The other question is my jalapeƱo plant is chilling on the balcony and it says it likes full sun. Is the Florida sun too hot because the leaves are getting a bit discolored on the tips? Should I move to partial shade until it’s adapted to being outside or will it toughen up or am I just overly concerned and nothing is even wrong? Rosemary and jalapeƱo pics below // potted in organic potting mix with moisture control & following the watering schedule on planta

Hey!! Anyone know what this plant is called? The plant identifier on the app doesn't seem to get it quite right, and there's no name on the plant itself. Any help is appreciated!! :)

I am new to being a plant parent and I am loving it!! This is my arrowhead I’ve have for a couple months now, the two leaves don’t look happy at all and I don’t know if the brown marks on the stem are normal, if someone could help me out that’d be great I’m worried about him 😄

Hey guys! I just got this Bromeliad today, I believe it is the ā€œflaming swordā€ variant. Does anyone have any tips or advice for it? Anything is appreciated :)

My polka dot Begonia started getting brown and curling leaf tips after moving it closer to my south facing windows. Is this from overwatering or too much sun? I cut the brown tips but they don’t have the same pretty pointy leaves now. šŸ˜”

Suggestions on what’s up with this plant? I got it in October 2023 and since then have lost a lot of leaves/vines and I’m down to only these. I just repotted it last week (along with all of my other plants because I had horrible fungus gnats and none of the methods were working.) Since then gnats are gone. It got a fresh watering once it was repotted. I added a before photo from October as well. Thanks!

My maranta has been blessing me with blooms for weeks now. I didn’t know they bloomed and I’m so proud I’ve kept her happy enough to see them 😊.

I just bought this BOP from Home Depot yesterday. The soil is kind of moist but the roots are poking out. Should I go ahead and report it? This will be my first time so any suggestions on soil brands, mixtures, etc would be greatly appreciated. I need all the guidance I can get. lol! TIA

this is my poor aloe plant, one of my first plants actually, and a few months ago I overwatered it. I looked up what to do and it said to take the aloe plant out of the soil, let the roots dry off and repot it. then I didn’t think that was good enough so I ended up cutting off some of the leaves. theres this weird brown color that you can kinda see and the leaves are really thin even though I watered it not too long ago. there is new growth that looks really good, though. it gets full sun every day for as long as the sun is in the east but I recently realized that a part of my window was blocking most of the sun from hitting it so maybe thats the problem?
