New babies came today! Tiny Fiddle Leaf Fig, Philodendron el Choco Red, and Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor. So excited!
I’m not sure whats wrong with my alocasia. I came home and a leaf broke off at the base of the leaf. She hasn’t sprouted any new leaves in 2 months but has lost about 3. However the existing leaves always look healthy, stem is firm and the roots look pretty good. Does anyone know what’s going on 😭😭😭
I just wanted to share a picture of my bottle brush tree.
On a scale of 1-10 how much do you love cacti and succulents?! 10 being obsessed and 1 not at all. Drop some pics of your favorites below! 😍
My first parlor palm 😎
Hi y’all! I got this White Birds of Paradise from Marketplace a while back and need some help figuring out if it’s done for. TL;DR: I gave my plants to my MIL to take care of while I did full-time travel for 2 years. Needless to say, she didn’t do the best job taking care of this baby. It’s green still so 85 makes me think it could be saved, any advice here welcome!
Also tips for adding a moss pole for the pothos? Idk what I’m doing
Found another one 👹
Watered the ZZ today and I feel like the water is running straight through it? I haven’t repotted since purchase.
Help! My Monkey Mask is turning pale/yellow. I bought a Monkey Mask a few weeks ago and noticed some webs, so I treated it with neem oil spray. Since finishing the treatment, all the leaves have started turning really pale or yellow. A lot went completely yellow, and I've already had to cut them off. I thought maybe root rot was the cause, so I repotted it, but the roots actually looked perfectly fine. The last picture was what it looked like when I got it. What is wrong with it, and what should I do now? Any advice to save it would be amazing!
I need advice. Does anyone think that I should pull it out and check for root rot? It was a cutting from my sister-in-law and I don’t wanna lose it. It seems like it’s turned a new leaf, but I don’t know if I should still check the roots.
First time plant mom here .. so I’ve had a bird nest fern for over a couple of months.. decided to put her outside for some light . My mistake. I shocked her . So I’ve been trying to revive her. I’ve trimmed her leaves and repotted her.. I’ve also bought a mini greenhouse to help her thrive again . Any advice /tips /recommendations. I feel so sad a bit because I’m trying to love her through all stages .but does she look okay I posted some before/ after sun /and now ( trimmed leaves and in the clear case)pictures.. Thanks :)
These are my sons Plants. Can anyone give advice on what to do with his Monstera? I said when they’re leggy, it means they need more light and I bought a couple of lights for him. Does he need to cut those branches off and root them? How far back should he cut them? Will they grow back if he cuts them all the way back to the dirt and is that advised?
On Saturday I experienced the worst pain I think I’ve ever had!! This is a puss caterpillar aka asp! Felt like my finger was on fire!! I accidentally rub against it while trimming some branches at 7pm I was in so much pain until I finally fell asleep around 4am 🥲 I’m all better now
I have currently about 18 plants and suddenly, I HAVE SOOOO MUCH FRUIT FLYS ON THEM, I try using Systemica is supposed to kill them but I have so many that nothing is working. ANY RECOMMENDATION ???? HELP!!!!!!!
I’m in a mood today. Advice needed A couple of days ago I found my newish rubber plant with the leaves getting distorted (like the beginning of a graphic explanation of space wormholes - photo 1) and I didn’t know why. Today I found this AH (photo 2). I have a money tree, a peperomia, and a ZZ around it. Should I treat them too? Or only if I find a bug in the next few days? Thank you.
If you are ever in St Pete’s stop by the Sunken Gardens! This place is for Plant Lovers 💚
Recently my best friend lost her husband of 38 years. It was tragic. Even more tragic was the number of lovely planters she received because she is NOT a plant person. She worried she would lose all of the plants, too. And as we all know, anyone would struggle with those planters where they put a peace lily, a flaming Katy and an orchid all together! So I took them, separated into smaller pots and provided her a new set up with grow lights and everything she needs for care. I went to my local plant store for care cards and even painted some of the pots with logos from some of her husband’s favorite things. She was so happy and has kept everything alive for the last month!
New flower 🤗🌼 Happy Monday 💫
