Hi, I noticed my monstera grows two different ātypesā of leaves. It grows these ones that are open straight from the base. Other times, it grows the big ones that grow vertically before unfurling. Iām wondering why? Let me know what you all think. Thanks!
Hi everyone! I just received this plant as a gift about a month ago and Iām not really sure what it is. Would anyone know? The leaves are really crispy, yellow, and keep falling off but it also has new growthā¦ā¦so any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!! It was repotted in regular potting mix with perlite before they gave it to me so not sure if that could be the could be the problem? Again any advice would be GREAT!! Thank you so much! š«¶
My plant is going down hill fast.š© I looks like the whole plant shrunk in size. I havenāt had it very long at all.

Hello plant community :) I could really use some help or advice on what I should do to help my monstera. I got my monstera in 2021 and for years it was flourishing. This winter did not treat him well though. The soil would stay wet for maybe 3-4 weeks after watering bc of how cold my apartment got (itās an old not well insulated apartment). Since, I have been struggling to keep him alive. Heās lost a total of 6 leaves (3 grown, 3 small) and heās on the way of losing more. He currently sits in my living room by an East facing window so he gets loads of indirect light, itās never been a problem before. Iām questioning if maybe he just needs to be repotted. Iāve put it off for over a year now because Iām afraid I wonāt do it properly or the soil may not be correct. Lots of uncertainty over what I should do to help him. If anyone has any suggestions Iād really appreciate it šš¼
Question, so lately Iāve been obsessing over getting a Bird of Paradise but the only room that would fit one, as it grows, would be an east facing one (living in NC). Is it possible to grow a health BOP like this?
Why does my monstera leaf have no holes?
Hey, this is my white bird of paradise, i got him a few months back and heās thriving, got a new leaf coming aswell, Iāve never had a bop not too sure what im doing but my question is making it look less messy around the bottom, all the small leaves, do I just chop them? everyone elseās i see seem to look so neat and tidy, im going to repot him soon aswell as the roots are coming out the bottom, should i sort it out then?
Does anyone have experience with a Fittonia nerve plant āpink forest flameā? I swore I couldnāt buy another plant and, lo and behold, I saw this beautiful plant baby and had to have it. But when I got home and researched it, wouldnāt you know, sheās labeled as āhardā to grow. I donāt think I would have brought her home if I had known that. If youāre familiar with this beautiful plant, would you be so kind as to send me any information youāve learned about raising one. TXS. ššŖ“šµāš« PS Iād rather not kill her!

Iām new to this and I just recently got a saladette tomato plant (biggest one pictured with cage) and I also started a few peppers and a tomato myself from seeds any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you! (The one in the brown pot that is sprouting is the tomato that I started from seeds. )

I have a giant dieffenbachia that I currently keep on a plant stand but it now touches my ceiling, I would like to put it on the floor but I have a 18 month old and pets that like to get into it. Any suggestions on what I could do with it so all the rugrats canāt get into it?
