Hello, plant parents! 🪴 I’m looking for something lush and pretty to put on a plant stand in front of an East-facing window in my home office. Any recommendations for something that likes direct morning light and bright indirect afternoon light? Thanks in advance! 🙏🏼

This is a shoutout to Emma from Planta customer service. I explained to her that I purchased a rubber plant that had a fungus when it arrived, money tree plant that was infected with thrips. She refunded the cost of the 2 plants and shipping, and added she appreciated me letting them know and that my email will be shared with the nursery. 👏

Is my crisp wave fern dying? It gets plenty of sunlight and soil is moist, but leaves are turning brown.

What’s the best way to separate these. They are stuck tight. I was thinking maybe put them in a tote of water?

finishing up a rehab for my friend’s pothos. It started as two long vines and I think I scarred her with how much I chopped it up, it was needed. Just acclimating to life outside the cabinet before she goes home 🩵

HELP. I was gifted a Dumb Cane that is in desperate need of revamping. The tops are already cut off because they were o heavy and bending ready to snap. I think it may be totally cut down because of the lanky twisting and turning stems. Can anybody guide me with this it is 7 feet tall.

I think my bamboo plant needs repotting.. Is there a a type of pot that anyone would recommend I get for it? Also should I have rock/pebbles on top of the soil or is that just for looks?

Hello! I was gifted this Bird of Paradise by a friend. I plan to add a support to main leaf, but wondering if I should cut shoot from old leaf? Thanks!

Good morning Planty people’s!🪴🪴 I bought a ZZ on clearance at Walmart. It was a sad little fella, as dry as could be. I watered it, cleaned the leaves and gave it indirect sun. In just a few days I’ve seen growth, new leaves pushing them selves out. The thing I’m concerned with, it’s in a self watering pot. Whenever I push a finger in its moist, doesn’t ZZ plant like to dry out a bit? Should this be in a different pot, or leave it alone?

My burgundy rubber fig, I got today. He was on the reduced price sell out rack, which means if I didn’t buy him, he would have been thrown in the trash and also I always wanted one of these guys.

Went to a plant market and they had some struggling plants available for free. I think this one has been overwatered and I’m confident i can save it, but I’m not sure what it is lol. Any ideas?

Hey everyone! I want to add a plant in my bathroom. Any suggestions on what I should get? No windows - just need something that thrives on moisture.
