This guy was literally brought back from the dead. My original “Charlie Brown” ficus tree was an established older plant but eventually grew spindly and had a lot of lost leaves. I sadly trimmed him way back, propagated a few stems (still rooting!) and put the base of this plant in my garage (with zero light) to throw away, but I didn’t get around to it, so the stalk sat for weeks. About a month passes, and I noticed small yellow leaves growing. Charlie 2 is now back inside and flourishing with new growth like a brand new plant 😊 I still am amazed

i got my BOP this summer and didn’t take it out of its pot right away when i got it back home (traveled one state over) and i’m not sure if i’d be stunting it by doing it now. I want to look at the roots and freshen up the soil and i know i certainly shouldn’t wait until it gets colder, but would it be beneficial to wait until spring? or do it now?

Hello, I’ve had my Alocasia for about 3 weeks now, and I have these two bottom leaves that have since drooped and turned yellow/faded. Is this normal dying off of older leaves, or am I doing something wrong? I water and fertilize according to the app, the pot has a drainage hole, and he sits in a room with indirect light, but is under a grow light. Any and all feedback is welcomed and appreciated (: Thanks!!

There seems to be some mixed opinion about how to measure plant height for the app - are people measuring from the soil line or including the pot depth in there too? Thanks!

I just bought the Milsbo cabinet pictured below. All of you that have one or something similar, what lights do you use? Planning on using this for anthuriums and philos. I would welcome any suggestions you have. What worked for you, what didn’t.

Beautiful monsters find!!
Found this monstera deliciosa that started to mature for £3.50!!
When repotting I saw she was incredibly root bound and there was 4 in there!!
Added a moss pole to the largest, potted the medium separately and then the two smallest together! I love getting 3 new plants from one!

Having a particularly restless night and decided to water my plants while I was waiting for some cookies to bake, and apparently my golden pothos Icarus adopted a little jumping spider at some point 😭
He's certainly earning his rent by keeping my recurring mealybug issue at bay. Decided to call him Sunny.

Is there any saving this dude? He’s had a rough couple of weeks. He was blown over into a hole during a storm, that’s why his leaves are broken. My husband overwatered him a few times, after multiple failed learning lessons. And now he’s like a purple color, kind of just meeehhhh. He is looking very sad and I don’t know how to resuscitate him!! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!
