Iām so scared to kill this baby but I want to gift it to my mom. Whatās the best way to transfer to soil? Just fully give it soil?

Hi all....so she is getting a repot today. She was a big box store find over a year ago. Just took her out of the little root death traps. She looks great, but would like a fuller pot. Try and separate and see if I can get some reshoot? She was in a 5 in pot and I think that is plenty of space for her right now. Thanks!!!

I opened a new bag of potting soil today (specifically moisture control from MiracleGro) and this clump was right at the top. Is this mold?

Trying this out , I have my spider plant fully in water no soil, so far it's going well!

Here is a picture of my Syngonium Pink Allusion. A bit out of control- sheās in need of repotting with a better pole, and just discovered you can prune them- but quite healthy otherwise. However, you can see there is zero pink on any of these leaves. Iām thinking itās because not enough lightā¦? This room gets bright, indirect morning sun. Love to hear ideas on how I could get more pink!

Heyyyyy itās me again!!!šš. Ok so I have been growing this pothos in water for about 2 months and she do be thriving. But itās starting to droop down. The leaves that are dropping down are also big asf. Would yall continue to let the big part grow or chop and prop?
Also do these roots look healthy?
And wtf is this? I tried to wipe it off but it wouldnāt come off . Is it apart of the plant?

Hi so i cut off part of my aloe vera plant a month ago to use it. This brown thing has formed on it. I also cut off the one below with the brown flap on it. Just wondering what it is and how long it will take for it to grow back.
Also does anyone know how long do baby aloeās take to grow?

I reaallllyyy wanna support our pollinators in my garden, but I keep having fairly rotten luck. I asked ChatGPT to help me out a bit and it made some recommendations based on my skill level (low), balcony set-up (partly sunny with a few grow lights), and cat safe. I ended up with marigolds and two kinds of catmint and alas they are starting to look a little sad. They are in a pot together with drainage under a grow light. What am I doing wrong. This is for the bees (et al.)!! š
The first photo is what it looked like right after planting. The second is a few days ago and Iām afraid that itās a little worse today than it looks in the picture.

Question: I have an alocasia that grew magnificently, bloomed, then died, but it grew a new plantlet. Should I say the plant died and enter the plantlet as a brand new plant? I think my schedule is still based on a full plant. Iāve attached what it looks like today. Thanks in advance!

Curious if anyone knows why my string of hearts has started growing horizontally and if this is normal? This only started after I moved it from sitting on a low shelf to hanging from the ceiling.

Canāt tell if this is normal or if something is wrong with my lavender. I live in a condo so I donāt have an outdoors and my grandma gave me this lavender. I know itās an outdoor plant. Itās in the room with the biggest window and sits getting light all day. Iām not sure if the flowers are supposed to die off or if theyāre getting too much sun. Some of the flowers feel crispy some of them donāt. The leaves are still green though Iāve noticed some leaves are pale or grey. Any ideas. It has drainage holes

I repotted my basil as suggested and now sheās sad, any suggestions?

I am usually down on myself...but wanted to share a success. I bought her about 14 months ago and she had one little shoot.

Both of my Alocasiaās were were struggling due to thrips and spider mites, so I cut them down to zero leaves & started over. I was sadly thinking I was going to have to toss them both š„¹ but they came back better than everš„² a lil TLC ended up being well worth itšš»

- It would be great if I donāt have them already I have, a Chinese money plant, rubber plant, bird of paradise, zz plant, baby rubber plant, spider plant, and snake plant. I also have a lot of philodendron and pothos but itās open to getting more.
- Iām fine with easy and medium care difficulties Anaās long as I donāt have to water them more than once a week.
- I love leafy plants but Iām open to getting different varieties (like my ponytail psalm in the photo)
- I have trouble taking care of plants that can easily loose leaves
- The weather is sunny it gets light direct light for about 6 hours and indirect light for 6. It is a little windy but not too bad.
- Lastly Iām looking for plants around the size range of 4-10 inch pots but Iām also looking for 1-2 larger plants for my large pot stands.
If you reply thank you for the help!!!

Hi everyone! I hope the summer is treating you and your plant families well! We have a peace Lilly that has been struggling for the past several months. Upon watering it this past weekend, today I discovered what appears to be fuzzy mold. Has anyone seen or aware of what this might be and what steps I should take to save my plant?

My begonia is flowering for the first time, but Iāve noticed that several leaves have lost their āspotsā. Does anyone know what causes this?
