My rubber plant is dropping leaves with new growth. Itās in a part sun part shade location now because I read too much sun can do this? Does anyone have any advice? Itās got 3 drainage holes in the bottom - the soil is wet now as I just was due to water it today. Thanks in advance!

Drooping leaves. What do I do?
Iāve had my BOP for like 2 months now and noticed the leaves stared drooping.
Iāll say that I did make a mistake by leaving it next to the ac vent. Because thatās where my window is. But how bad is it? And how can I revive it?
I water once a week depending on the moisture of the soil, and itās in a pot with drainage.

What is everyoneās go to for grow lights? I have a few plants placed a little too dark and would like to add some grow lights to them but I want something reliable. I canāt seem to find any that donāt plug into the wall so would power banks be an option? Sorry if this is a repost I just havenāt seen anything posted recently in regards to grow lights. Thanks in advance š

Hi everyone, had this hypoestes for a few months now and this tends to happen every now and then, the yellowing of the leaves i would assume either too much water to too much sun, but i always let it dry out between water and the sun really hasnāt been bad at the minute, and if it were to be too hot i take them out the window, all Iāve been doing is chopping the leaves once they fully turn yellow, any advice?

Is this a fungus on top of the soil of my ficus? The app didnāt detect any issues with the plantās health based on pictures but Iām a little concerned.

Does anyone know what could be causing this damage on leaves? I noticed little black pests flying around and in the soil, none on the actual leaves, I canāt tell if itās thrips or fungal gnats. But the soil isnāt moist, and I have it isolated from my other plants.

hey yall! planta has suggested that i move a couple of my plants (bearded iris and echeveria) out from the shade of my terrace into the sun of the backyard (it says the light level is too low) these plants arenāt dying, but also arenāt exactly thriving. only thing is, we live in texas where it is well over 100° right now, plus humidity through the roof. i donāt want to burn the plantsā should i purchase a grow light and keep them indoors (and out of the heat) or should i just keep them outside? iāve had them outside for a day and they donāt seem to be wilting, but itās only been a day. i am also super new to planta and havenāt quite built up that trust. any advice?

Does anything else think Planta suggests watering plants way too often?
Also apologies if this has been discussed to death before.
I signed up for Planta about a year ago because I wanted to get into taking care of houseplants but didnāt feel comfortable and confident so the auto watering schedule was a huge selling point. I now have almost 40 thriving plants! Overall itās been wonderful and it was Planta that gave me the confidence.
But recently Iāve noticed that most of the plants that it tells me to water still have very moist soil when read with a soil moisture meter (I mostly bottom water my plants to avoid gnats).
I input all the information into the app, the distance from the window, pot size, growing medium, everything.
Anyways, now when it tells me to water Iāll take a moisture reading and if itās still moist Iāll skip until next time. Sometimes Iāll skip multiple times in a row and all those plants are still doing fine great which suggests that Planta is telling me to water way too frequently.
Anyone else noticing this?
Tamara
Never seen this before!
