Thumbs up if you agree with my logic. I've had a ruby ficus for almost 10 months. It had 5 leaves, now only 3. I know it's struggling, I've tried several locations, different lighting grow light, sunlight.., tried different water, filtered, distilled, rain...but sometimes it looks like a sprout is going emerge then it dries up. So, now my logic...I bought a larger ficus. I'll put it nearby...hopefully Ruby finds inspiration and starts to grow. 🤗
Hey plant parents🌱 Very recently I got a sunflower from a grocery store. It had one already in full bloom, is now drooping. I want to know if now is good time for me to cut it and trim the leaves around it?
Hi have a variety of plants. Should I use 3-1-2 fertilizer and 20-20-20, 12-36-14, 15-30-15 for the blooming ones. What do y’all use? I’ve never been good with fertilizer.
Should I pick off the dead purple flowers from this Flaming Katy or just let them drop on their own time? They’ve been hanging on for at least a month, maybe two. The pink flowers are new—bloomed within the past 2 weeks.
I have this desert rose plant. I’ve had it for two years now. It has always had a problem of sorts. First time I got it it had aphids. I cleared that up and then I think I overwatered it. Over the past year it was doing way better so I sent it to my husband‘s job. He brought it home looking like this. I repotted it in some cactus soil. I would like to bring it back to recovery. Has anyone cut it down so it can start new growth? Or do I just give it time and let it grow again.

Tips and tricks with a Venus fly trap?!? I really want to get one, but want to make sure I know everything I need to prior to getting one! I’m not sure how difficult they are, I have done zero research but I wanted to ask here first! :)
Does anyone have any recommendations about how to safely prune my rubber plant so that isn’t so lanky?
I have a baby rubber, that used to sit in my windowsill. I moved it to a location with less direct sunlight, and recently noticed the leaves were developing brown spots and falling off. The soil seemed low and it was time to repot it, so I refreshed the soil and upgraded it to a slightly larger pot (the roots had grown) and then moved it back to direct sun, but alas the leaves are still falling. Any ideas? Thoughts on what this could be/what might help?

I had a beautiful bean plant (R) give up on me after getting too much sun. I was devastated but I started over, planting new seeds and trying to salvage the roots and bottom of stem of two of the old ones. I think I’ve got to give that hope up as now I see the old stems are starting to mold, but there are sprouts emerging from the new seeds (L)! This is my first time with beans but they seem pretty easy to grow. Any tips for a beginner?

Can Angel Wing Begonias be placed outside for the summer in the northeast when the temp range is 60-95? I have it in a place that only gets minimal sunlight. The other Begonias that are right next to it thrive out here every summer for the past 8 YEARS. The app said the site was recommended for this plant then today the pink warning came up saying this plant shouldn’t be outside. So what should I do?????
Hi! My pothos vine finally got new growth after 2 months. The leaf is wayyyyy more small than normal. I can see a leaf’s sheath but the other leaf is so small it can’t come in. What can I do about this?
