I just got my first monstera Del. It has two new leave, one is happy and one which have these weird brown spots on them. Any ideas on what they could be??? I know lots of people are gonna say mites or pests but I have checked the whole plant and there is no other sign of them. Thanks plant community!!! đȘŽ
I have a couple pothos and I think I misidentified them. I also think one pot has a couple types in it. Any help properly identifying these plants? One is mostly green with some specs of color, one is mostly variegated, another has half and half leaves and the last has splashes of color in half the leaves. I got them all at big box stores so they were just âpothosâ. Thanks in advance!
iâm helping a new plant shop open up in my town! the owner is a flower farmer so she doesnât know much about house plants and asked me to help make a list. i know what i like, but im curious what other people are looking for in their local plant shops? whatâs some of your favorite plants that youâve kept? if you wouldnât made sharing how much you paid for the plant that would be helpful too! she asked me to help with prices but i strictly shop clearance and revive the plant. hereâs a pic of my syngonium mojito â€ïž

Hi there! I need some advice for my Dieffenbachia Seguine (Dumb Cane). She was doing well recently, but now she seems to be getting worse. When I first bought her, she was in poor shape, but she started thriving after I dried out her soil and gave her some sun. The soil isnât overly wet, and although I had her too close to the sun for a few days (which she seemed to enjoy for a while?), Iâve since relocated her. This is my first time taking care of this plant, and Iâm not sure what the issue is. Any advice would be appreciated!
Any advice on how to get promote more branch growth for my money plant? Itâs happy but itâs always only had these two branches/stems. The trunks are also pretty small considering Iâve had it for a year.
I have an app question. Is it possible to have two locations on this app? I live in two cities in different states and would like to use this app for my plants in both locations. I am finally settled in to my second apartment and would love to add the plants I get to my collection. One option I will not consider is paying for the app twice lol. Incase you are interested in the location situation it is because my two children couldnât find jobs in the same state lol
Any input on how to help this guy? Weâve moved it in different locations but heâs still not happy.
For self watering pots, I see a variety of media used in a plants pot. What medium do you think is best for a self wedding pot⊠leca, pon, pearlite, or what? Any info regarding self watering pots would be greatly appreciated⊠TIA!
Iâm researching info on self watering pots. For the rope that is needed to siphon water into the pot, what kind of rope is best? Polyester or cotton or ???.
Does anybody know what these spots are? I was doing a progress report and found two leaves with sort of an orangey round spot, as you can see in the pics. Iâve recently sprayed it at least four times, with the first three sprays a copper fungicide and the last spray with neem oil. TIA!

I have this monstera. Itâs stopped putting out leaves. This part seems to be getting bigger, like it wants to do something but canât. Itâs been months like this. Is it something about the coir post? All ideas welcome!!
My spider plant bloomed for the first time!
Most dramatic plant. I've had her for 2 weeks and she dropped withing 6 hours yesterday, and now here she is after a thorough drink. I'll probs get some sphagnym moss for her when I decide to repot in like 500 months
