My BOP just opened a new leaf! This is the third one since I got the plant a couple months ago. This leaf is GIGANTIC! It measures 22” long! I’m also seeing a new shoot on the other stalk. I’m hoping it likes its winter location in my living room. It usually is in my dining room for summer but the new angle of the sun isn’t providing enough light for long enough periods so it’s now in a Western facing window.

Can someone tell what the leaves of a speckled purple sweet potato, jewel sweet potato and yam sweet potato look like that would be much appreciated. Due to knowing if they are any of the cultivators of sweet potato on Planta so I can change that in their settings.

Are the leaves of my American mountain ash sunburn or is it just the leaves transitioning to their autumn colours?

Hey plant friends!!! I recently got two beautiful fiddle leaf figs!!! I’m very excited to have them and their air purifying qualities in my home! I was advised to keep the leaves clean with a neem oil spray. Which i am doing, but is it good for other plants or just ones with the big leaves? Any advice is welcome!!! I did a spray on my palms cuz i searched it…. But i got lots of plants!

Any advice on what could be happening to my ficus leaves? I brought it in for winter recently and repotted it in early august! Any tips on how to solve the issue or a diagnosis would be great!!! (It’s been putting out new growth just the lower-mid leaves)

What in the world is this plant called and what's wrong with it? It's turning brown at the stems.

Hello All! I'm traveling soon and will be away for 3-4 months. I'm wondering what's the best way to keep my plants watered while away?

Is anyone else feeling really really defeated when it comes to plants? I seem to have nothing but a black thumb lately.

This corn seedling was growing in my American mountain ash pot and I chose to put it in a separate container and see how it goes.
