I'm so excited, I have three new plants but I have a situation needing help with one. The tall Snake plant had the top intertwined with rubber bands and was cutting off life. I removed it but what do I use to keep it going that way but not harm the plant??
i was just given these two plants, i was told the one on the left is a snake plant and the right one is a succulent but i was just curious if anyone could give me the exact types? i’m thinking the succulent is a flaming katy but i can’t be 100% sure

What’s like the best rare plant to have in my collection? The only plant I would consider rare in my collection is my variegated elephant ear and my pink princess philodendron. :)

Is it time to repot these plants into bigger pots?
Hi again!! I’m a new plant parent, and these are my newly adopted children (Snake, spider, prayer, Hoya, and Chinese money plant). Planning to have them indoors. I’m new to this and particularly concerned about the prayer plant - I heard they like humidity. Please give me tips - what is the best way to achieve this? Will spritzing regularly be enough or do I have to install a humidifier? I’ve heard I can also use a pebble tray - is this enough or is a humidifier usually required? Which of these will grow best together?
Anyone ever see this with an avocado? If I didn't personally root this myself I may not believe it's from an avocado pit.... Gave it to a coworker and this is what it's looked like for a couple months. Any ideas?
Hii I'm new to plants so I need some advice for my polka dot plant , it is currently facing a NE window so it gets direct light for an hour ish daily. Is this too little light ? Any advice appreciated 🌱🪴
I cleaned up the crispy leaves on the peace lily my friends mom gave me and am using a humidifier now to try to help but is it better to top water or bottom water her? Tia!

My cuprea looks kinda sad. She’s in a room with a lot of humidity. Currently facing the WEST patio door about 8ft away. Update: I put her on my table with a grow light on the side with most of my plants and she in the middle. Hope she perks up
I just got this monstera on Friday 08/29 and I notice the leaf has some yellow on it does any one know why and what I should do ?

New plant parent here 🤰 Hi all, I’m an extremelyyyy fresh new plant parent but I’m doing everything I can to learn the basics (I’m post grad and have a lot of time right now). I found a mature snake plant on Facebook marketplace and am picking it up today, I did research on the basics of how to take care of it, but do yall have any tips that Google won’t tell me?? Specifically related to soil type, fertilizer, placement? Any super secret hacks or things I should definitely know for keeping it indoors?? Let me hear it all!! Thanks so much!!
What is this yellow spot?!? I'm losing my mind! Last time this happened, it grew bigger until the whole leaf rotted. So I repotted and pruned, and she's been happy for over a month. Until I noticed a new spot?!? 😭 What am i doing wrong???
