Question… how do you balance repotting and sizing up with your grow pot outgrowing your decorative pots? I’ve been able to shuffle a few things around, but a lot of my grow pots aren’t the right size for my cache pots and now I’ve got lots of empty cache pots with bigger plants that are naked! Help!!

Hello! My plant collection is growing rapidly and I just got this fiddle leaf fig for $10 at Lowe’s 🤭 this is my first one and it’s a dream house plant of mine. I have so many questions: 1. Should I repot/change out the soil? It seems to be in a pretty chunky orchid bark type mixture but when I went to water it did not absorb right away. 2. From research I know they don’t like to get moved but is near a window and with a grow light too much for this plant? 3. Is there any hope for more leaves towards the bottom of the stem? The whole stem is green but I fear it’s going to be completely bare on the bottom! Thank you plants kings and queens!!

Hi! Newish plant mama here. I have some wildflower pots, a turtle vine, and blueberry bush outside that can’t be brought in (DC/VA/MD area climate). What are some good options to winterize them while they stay outside this winter? When I got them I was told they’d be ok outside all winter but after getting alerts to bring them inside through Planta, I’m concerned for their wellbeing. Asking for advice! Thanks plant community :) Also, I’ve nursed the blueberry just back to life and it had lots of new growth. Unsure if it’s appropriate to cut off the branches or if it’s fine to leave them.

Hello👋🏾. My coffee plant which I've kept on my shaded front porch until recently, is suffering due to the night temperature going below 40 degrees. All the leaves look dry and shriveled. Can I bring it back? I brought it inside.

My name is Mysti....and I kill Marantas. No idea why....use distilled water and don't let it dry out, give it light and love. I will try again....would love to have a collection but gotta keep at least 1 alive for awhile first!

Have I killed my pink princess? When I water her, water goes straight through the soil. I’m back to bottom watering for her, but half the leaves are brown and wilted. Yet every time I water her, it seems like she’s not drinking it up. Can’t tell if it’s over or under watering these days.

I rescued a few plants from going to the land fill and I know what most of them are, but this one is stumping me. Is it an ardisia? Planted thinks it’s an ardisia but my friend’s app thinks it’s a money tree. It doesn’t look quite like a money tree’s trunk, so that’s why I’m thinking an ardisia or a dwarf umbrella plant? Any help would be great. Thanks!

A relatively new ZZ is rather leaning. I took this from a larger ZZ I was repotting. I’m propping it up with the wood block behind it now. I wanted to gift this to someone but want to make sure it’s going to be OK first. Any tips or advice for this?

The generosity in my neighborhood just fills my cup!!! Of course this one came home with me :)

I have a bathroom with no windows and extremely limited (natural) light. It’s humid, generally warm, but gets very little light. I’d love to get some greenery in there, but have no idea what might survive! Any ideas? Thanks!

my bird of paradise hasnt pushed out a new leaf since may, what could be the cause for this and how can I fix it?

Any recommendations for rechargeable grow lamps? For a hallway with little natural light and no electrical outlets.

Good afternoon, everyone 😊 I’m trying to find some strip grow lights to stick underneath my shelves for my lower light houseplants. The shelves are metal racks, so the trickiest part is finding one to properly stick the grow lights to the top of it, or lights with straps that I can use to attach to the rack itself to hold them in place. Thanks in advance for any help in finding something that would work for this 🌱

Hey everyone! I need some help with cleaning my plants leafs! I have two big dogs that are great but their hair gets everywhere, the cleaning sprays I’ve used so far seem to make the dog hair stick to the leafs. Anyone have any tips or tricks they’ve had success with? Thank you!
