Hello everyone!! Soooo, broke down and bought some more plants lol. I have a scindapsus treubii moonlight coming in and I’ve read they like a bit of humidity. I live in NC and my house isn’t dripping with humidity but I’m sure it’s fairly humid compared to other houses in other states. I don’t really want to invest in a humidifier right away, is there any way to create humidity without that or do I even need to worry?
Hi!! I just bought this plant yesterday it’s a Ficus elastica aka rubber plant. I was looking for a spot to put him in and the app recommended outside. Is this a good idea? I live in an upstairs apartment, it would be on a west facing balcony that gets direct sun from 3-5pm. Also any care tips would be greatly appreciated 😊🪴
Why are my plants trying to root out of their pots? I have several doing this. These are new pots so they have more than enough space in the soil! I repotted them into these clear pots only a few weeks ago. Am I supposed to put a mesh of some kind at the bottom? What do I do with these roots? I tried redirecting, but they just break or come back shortly after.
Well I’ve now converted my THIRD cabinet into a greenhouse 😆 I’m gonna have to add on to my house next 🙈

Help! Does anybody have a clue why her leaves are turning brown? I have two of the same plant and the other one is doing just fine. I have them in the same spot and I water them the same. Could it have something to do with the soil?

Hi! First post to this group!! I have a bird of paradise, I’ve had for a year give or a take a few months. I’ve never repotted but the roots are starting to stick out the bottom. I generally follow a 1-2” pot upgrade rule of thumb but I seem to be out of bigger pots in this size. At this time it’s in a 6” but I’m thinking about putting it in a 10”. Would this be okay?

hiya! i have had this Dieffenbachia Camilla for over a year now, it used to be so much fuller and had big healthy leaves !! the big leaves turned yellow and fell off. and it now looks like this. Is there any way i can get it back to having bigger, fuller leaves ??? any help is appreciated thank you !!! 🌱🪴

Should i cute the top off my ficus? I have this ficas that went crazy last summer and went a bit wobbly! this last few weeks it’s put out a ton of new growth on the sad sticky bits! but it’s still a bit crazy should i chop off that left bit to propagate or let it do its thing??

Recently bought some new plants and repotted them along with the ones I’ve already had! When do you typically like to water after repotting?
This is what my Chinese Evergreen was potted in for over a couple years. Repotted it the other day and the roots hadn’t even grown out of the original root ball that it had when I potted it up the first time. I saw new leaves and assumed it was thriving. It’s in a smaller “pot” now so I’m hoping the roots won’t take long to get established and hopefully root bound!
