I have always had such a hard time with this guy. Obviously too close to the sun because of that yellow leaf. But there are flowers?! It’s always been droopy… any suggestions? 😕

Morning fellow plant lovers. Little update on my peace lily (who was overwatered then frozen). It’s been repotted and pulled through. It’s gotten new leaves! AND A FLOWER! So I think it’s healing. My question: should I cut those stems without leaves?

Why are my “Sweet Mint” leaves turning brown? It is on an end table in front of a south facing window. It was originally on the windowsill of the south facing window.

my spider plant grew a stem about 2 inches long and then i found out it just went brown and crispy, meaning it died, will it grow back, or do i have to wait ages?

Hi, So I found this beautiful Birds of Paradise thrown out in my apartment complex’s garbage room. I decided to take it home. I’m pretty much a plant noob, would love to understand what the purpose of the gap between the plastic pot and the planter. Is that a drainage area? How do I go about watering the plant with this pot? All of my other plants have drainage holes at the bottom, so I just water until water comes out of the drainage holes. Would I water the plant until water starts going into that side hole? Would love some advice! Thank you!

Here she is my newest find 🥳 a 5 foot 7 (from dirt to top) Umbrella tree? Not fully sure what she is or how old but I love her! Any tips, tricks or suggestions welcome, her last home had little to no natural light. She’s now 3 feet away from an east facing window.

when I got my one of my first plants I made an oopsie and cut off 90% of the growth points on my snake plant leaves. I never show this plant to anyone cause I’m so embarrassed 😂 big chops today, wish me luck and hope these cuttings take. It’s my first time trying to propagate a snake plant, any tips greatly appreciated lol

Been reviving this plant slowly but surely! This plant was in a bathroom (and got too much humidity) and I’ve managed to bring it back to life! Any tips on if I should move it/mist it would be appreciated, I’ll be putting in extra soil since it doesn’t have enough and moves easily since there isn’t much. I’ve also snipped off the dead leaves since I took this photo. Thanks for any help!!

Hello everyone, What do you suggest to do with my avocado? The stem is about 8” now and some people suggest to cut it short to have a stronger stem grow and some other say to leave it as is. What’s your experience with avocado? Also, can it keep growing in water or is it better to plant it in a pot? Thank you!

This is kind of a dumb question but when adding plants and it asks how big they are am I measuring from soil up like height or the width of it? This has really been bothering me lol

Moment of silence for my baby Pearl. I had a feeling she wasn’t going to last🥺. I unfortunately could no longer take care of her and she was declining in health. I move to an apartment with north facing windows which would eventually aid in her deteriorating

I got this begonia wings a little while ago and I noticed some leaves have started to roll up and crinkle. It’s colour has also been fading a little bit. I’ve given it a big water and it hasn’t seemed to help. Has anyone got any advice?
