I brought more….
Hi!! New plant mom here! So I’ve acquired a few plants over the past couple months and have them set up on my windowsill because it’s the best, and only, source of light in my tiny studio apartment. While propagating my monstera it was taking awhile to grow roots and my friend suggested I move it farther away from the window because it might’ve been too cold. I then realized that there was a small draft coming through that window, and whether it was time or temperature the prop started growing roots a little bit after moving it (about a month total prop time.) Now I’m wondering how big of a deal the draft is? Should I sacrifice sunlight for temperature? Thanks!
Tell me you’re obsessed with houseplants without telling me you’re obsessed with houseplants. I’ll go first 🙋🏻♀️🌿🪴🌱 Currently at the library with these picks 👇🏼
Heyy guys! So I just rescued this guy from Lowe’s. I have no clue what sickness it has right now. There were some pests as well so I changed out the soil and gave it a fresh pot. I’m sure it’s also just acclimating to the new environment, but does anyone know what this is? It starts out as tiny black specks on the leaves then turn the leaves dark limp n frail.
Is it possible to propagate lucky bamboo in water? And if so how would I do that?
My sage plant just sprouted. Soo excited!!!
Help: I have this air plant and I’m truly struggling. Its leaves are curling and turning this grayish color and are clearly dead. I’m following the guide but I can’t figure out what’s wrong. The very last picture is what it use to look like.
Do grow lights need to be above the plant or can they be below?🤍🪴
I have a pine tree that I have planted into soil from a seed I don’t know how to tell if there has been any growth within the around a month it has been planted.
Hey guys! I got a Lowe’s gift card for my recent birthday and was inserting which plants y’all would like me to get! It’s a $50 gift card so list your favorite plants that u think are there! Ty! PS - I’m having trouble deciding since there are so many lol!😂
Best places to find plants in Utah Valley? Keeping in mind cost, selection, and health of plants. :)
A while back I chopped my Dieffenbachia bc it was very leggy & top heavy so I chose to re-root it in water. Well it’s doing amazing & it gave me so many new babies I was able to prop them! Usually I would’ve taken the easy way & simply bought a new one but this one had special sentiment so I put it in the extra work to start a new baby 🌱
Can anyone please help me identify this long stemmed, light green plant with plump leaves? I’ve been trying to google it with varying keywords to no avail. Thank you!
What a cool little guy! I had no idea that rubber plants made these “blooms”.
Hey I’m really concerned about this plant a few of the flowers and leads are Diying and I don’t know why
Okay Planta Experts, I need help! I purchased a 6” string of pearls from a seller across the country. The USPS lost my plant during the freeze here in TX 🤬 I finally got the plant today and there is significant freeze damage on the top of the plant. A lot of the top is going to die off because of it. What would you do to save the rest of this plant? Should I cut the healthy pearls off and try to propagate them? If so, what would be the best method for that. I am open to all and any wonderful suggestions, you plant people have!
Why might some of the leaves on my hurricane fern be discolored? I water every 4-5 days and it gets about about 9 or 10 hours of grow light. I know its kinda hard to see in the pictures but its more of a darker brown color on some leaves TIA :)
Hello everyone! I am a brand new plant parent, as in I just bought my first two plants! I noticed these little black spots on my leaves. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on what it is or what I can do. Thanks.!
Hey y’all! I’ve been wondering why a lot of people gravitate toward repotting when something is wrong with a plant. Is that advisable? I would think it would subject the plant to increased and undue stress, but I’m curious what y’all think.
my boyfriend got this Monstera but forgot about it, will she live? i gave her lots of water and will be potting her later today. i’m hoping she’ll live but if not could i propagate it?
