Hello! I am new here and to the (serious) business of house plants. I got this calathea ornata a few days ago but I wanted to know what was the best fertilizer for them? I know they can be pretty picky. Thanks in advance!

I love spider plants so of course when I saw this monster at a big box store for cheap, I had to have it. So many spider plants in my future. (this was after I had already cut off at least half to propagate!).

I planted a black magic elephant Ear. I really hope it plants. I want it to be just as big or bigger than Babar.

Does anyone know what this little guy is? I feel terrible, but I’m not really loving the looks of him 😂

Who else is growing or is familiar with pandan/screw pine? Is it normal to send roots down from the stem? This is Amary, with pups!

So, I went for French lavender and evened up coming home with this plumeria rubra 🤦🏽‍♀️ (typical). Just repotted and she’s so cute. It says it’s an outdoor, full sun plant but it’s currently 100+ degrees here and dry heat (high desert). Is she better off inside or can she make it?

Hey guys! What the heck is this? I’m guessing it’s a bulb so next question is what do I do with it? My plant’s been losing leaves, had droopy and wilted leaves and the newgrowth dies and is trapped before it even gets a chance to grow so I was going to repot it to see if the roots were rotting, they look pretty healthy so I’m not sure what’s causing the issue ☹️ I did have her outdoors for a while till slugs became a problem and she’s been indoors since but I’m finding it hard to care for her

Current favorite spot to gaze at💚🪴

I got this and was told it was a sedum variety, and am very annoyed because upon research I believe it to be an elephant plant. As a result it has been getting way too much sun, which I (think) is causing the shriveled leaves. However I don’t know much about these plants and could be wrong, and don’t know if that browning inside area is normal growth or another problem. If anyone has any tips or advice that would be appreciated!
