I just got a snake plant at a flee market for $3 and it seems to be in pretty good condition. The only problem is, there might be some critters living in the soil and I don’t want them in my house. How can I take care of that?

Could use your input. I recently lost my mom so I purchased a prayer plant in her honor. They told me to pot it in a shallower wider pot. Is this okay for it? Should I put it in a normal round pot?

For anyone who has trouble identifying plants, I use the website: identify.plantnet .org It has been the most accurate for me. Even if the first option it gives you isn’t correct the second or third usually are!
