A super kind friend gave me a grow light bulb since my place is rather dark. I’m just a little confused over how long I should keep it on each day? Is it supposed to be on during the night too? I’m sorry but I’ve never used one before but I want to give my coleus more light so it grows better. Thank you!

Hi! Can I go dig on my alocasia soil to see if she has corms without disturbing her so much? I don’t want to repot her yet but I do want to dig for corms. Can that be done without causing her stress? TIA for any insight 🙏🏻

I have this Algerian ivy plant which hasn’t been doing too hot for a while, I’ve been on schedule with watering (and being careful to not over water when still damp) but I haven’t seen much improvement yet…. Wondering how I can get this guy back to good health

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day yesterday! Who doesn't love getting plants instead of flowers for Valentine's Day?? My husband got me these two succulents (Pincushion Peperomia and Echeveria) with funny tags 😁 My parents got me a Medusa Head Air Plant inside of a macrama hanger. I'm loving my small Valentine's haul! 💖 What did you guys get? 🫶🏻

Help! What do I do with my monstera. It doesn’t use the the bamboo sticks and it’s so flimsy. Does it need more fertiliser or does it need a bigger pot?

I recently purchased a 6 in Peace Lilly from Kroger that sits at my office. I’ve always used the default schedules in Planta, which has worked pretty well, except for with this one. It seems that the water settings are too infrequent. It always perks back up, but it’s not thriving. I know how to custom change my schedule, but I like how it auto adjusts based on the season. My one thought is that I have the wrong soil listed. This one drains super quickly, almost like orchid soil, while I just listed it as regular potting soil in the app. Is that what this soil looks like to you? When I changed the soil in the app, it didn’t adjust the schedule. Any other suggestions?

I have 3 African Violets and they have been very healthy all winter but no blooms. I tried Epsom Salt diluted in Distilled water and watered them. I held my breath while doing this because I was terrified to ruin my AVs. It worked. My “Harmony’s Cotton Candy” started to show blooms within 2 days and today looks about to bloom. My purple AV has flower buds now but not as close to blooming as the Cotton Candy. So excited. First time having Blooming AV!!!!

I got this ginseng ficus for Christmas and the leaves were all dead by the time I got it home. I started putting it under grow lights everyday and started to see some green come out of the branches but now it has stopped. I’m wondering if it’s being scorched by the grow lights?? Or am I underwatering?? Any advice appreciated

This is Mr. Krabs and he’s the first money tree I’ve had. We lost power and heat for about a week due to the cold and I’ve seen some yellowing/falling leaves since. Is there any advice on what to do? Or does he look alright otherwise? Any comments are appreciated! ❤️
