will this tradescantia go if i put it in soil **TOMORROW**, it was in water but i cut the bottom of the stem off?
Hi all Nice to meet you. I’m new to planting and wanted to know the best way to grow this plant. I have been watering it and it seems strong and healthy however it looks like it is growing out of control. I was wondering if I am suppose to attach things to control how it grows. Any help would be much appreciated
My Cathalea Freddie is bad shape so I’m repotting and cleaning up roots to see if can’t save her.. anyone know what these bulbous roots are? They were growing out the bottom of the pot she was purchased in. I’m assuming that means she needed to be repotted. Should I keep them?

Hi all, I have a tall corn plant that is flowering—I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s never done so before. Is this a bad thing? It’s had a lot of brown spot lately, so I’m worried that this is like a garden plant sending up shoots on its way out. Any thoughts appreciated

Got this nerve plant for new year and was looking for some general care instructions please! I think it needs humidity so it’s in the bathroom at the moment. This app said it was a hard plant to care for and wouldn’t recommend it for me, but here I go! 😂

The in laws outdid themselves with this ultra well done book about the science of plants, breaks down each part of the plant and shows different variants across species. So interesting and beautifully done.
Anyone have experience (good or bad) with Cat Palms? Are they tough kids or delicate divas, somewhere in between? I’m tempted by one I met tonight, but I’m in upper Midwest, so house is very dry over winter and Planta says it likes high humidity. The one I have an eye on is already 2-3 feet tall, not a good candidate for one of my cabinets. I don’t think I can get to high humidity with a pebble tray, and I’m not even confident a humidifier could do the job. Can I pull her through a winter without ideal conditions, or am I just bringing home a plant I’m likely to promptly kill? TIA all!
Does anyone know what this plant is? I bought it at Costco in November (it came with the basket). Google says it’s a Yucca plant but I’m not sure.
Hiii! Does anyone know what is wrong with my plant?? I’ve had her for a year now and she’s always been a healthy and easy plant to care for. Recently she’s been loosing leaves and having dead or dry spots. It says this plant is suppose to get a lot of sun so I put it in a window with a good amount of sunlight. Is it getting too much sun?? or is it over/under watered??? Thank you! :)
If I’m using a grow light for my plants, and I don’t have premium, should I list the environment as full sun or something else?

Can anyone please tell me what type of plant this is.
My plant hasn’t been growing the same, it stopped sprouting randomly, the tip like closed off, and then a weaker one sprouted along side, the leaf isn’t as pretty, it’s like wilted but still growing…. Any tips?
Is anyone fertilizing plants during the winter months ?
