Giving my pothos back to its original owner! My husbands nana is going to be so surprised when she sees it again! I can’t wait to reunite them. I’m said to watch him leave! But I’m happy he’s going to be back home again! I kept a piece to put with my pothos so they can get big together!
Hi! I’ve been doing pretty good with my plants and i recently started having problems. A few of my plants have been dying and looking terrible. I take good care of them but I’m very concerned. The leaves have been turning mushy and falling off. They also look brown and sometimes lack color. I was wondering how I can fix this or if I should just replace them with easier plants. If you have plant suggestions i would appreciate it! Thank you!

So my neighbor gave me this, Pot and all! ❤️she knows I love plants but I don’t know what it is! I Never seen anything like it. The leaves are very hard. I’m assuming it’s some type of dracena, I think. 🧐

hey there, i’m something of an expert when it comes to houseplants, and i just wanted to say i see a lot of half-truths and flat out lies spread on this platform since i started looking around. i really want to encourage everyone to take the time to do individual research and not just believe what some random planta user tells you. it’s also important to keep in mind that what may be true for one person and one plant, is likely not true for another because of the difference in environment and personal habits. good luck out there and happy planting 🌱
there was a pretty bad storm last night and my dahlia got taken out. i found these as i’m re planting her, are they bulbs??

Good Morning! This sweet baby almost died, I’m pretty sure the usual suspect: me overwatering. I repotted her (I realize now I out her in a pot that’s at least 47 sizes too big) but she almost immediately starting growing lots of leaves wicked fast!!!!! When I repotted only the two that I want to talk about today existed. My question is, those two that are curling…is it too much direct sun? I have her right in the window….maybe it’s too much? Tysm!
My first bloom on a Hoya! There were more like 10 flowers on the peduncle to begin with, but some got knocked off during a storm and others dried up and fell off before opening 😔 The flowers smell like tootsie rolls 🙂
had a plant oops. I put my air plant in water submerged before work, with full intent to remove her after 15 minutes. I walked out the door and 12 hours later realized that she was still in the bowl of water. Am I going to kill her? I have her upside down under a grow light now. Hoping for the best.
Any idea what kind of plant this is? I think it’s an Alocasia, not sure of the variety. Planta identification didn’t seem very accurate
I’m looking to repot my new peperomia frosted and I thought I had the perfect pot for it! Turns out the pot is terracotta but is glazed on the inside with zero drainage. Id prefer not to keep it in the nursery pot it came in because it sticks of the pot I have currently and I’m not sure I can find something that will work due to the shape of the pot. Has anyone had success potting peperomias in pot with no drainage? I currently have another smaller Peperomia in a pot with zero drainage but the new plant is much larger and I’m not sure if it’ll be okay. Help is appreciated!!!
