Hey, I have this phyllostachya plant, which has always been so healthy and is flowering constantly, but all advice I’ve found online says to chop it when it gets tall. This is the first one I’ve had and I’ve cut off some of its height, but I quite like it tall. Does anyone have any advice on if this will make it unhealthy or is it just for aesthetic reasons people usually cut it! Thanks!!
Hi should I cut this dying leaf off my alocasia? If so where..it’s on a main stem and it appears there is new growth on the same steam…also would I be able to do anything with the leaf?
Hi y’all! I have a vanilla planifolia and wanted to know if anyone else has experience with them. Right now I have her in some orchid bark and she’s doing well but she’s going to need a new home soon so I wanted to get her into a more permanent home. I was kind of wanting to plant her with a mate she can climb but not sure if I should. I do move her around too sometimes inside sometimes outside depending on how hot it is and she does fine with the transitions.

This question is for those of you who are in the heat zone now🥵🥵🥵🥵 and use planta as your watering guide.. do you think it takes into consideration 3 weeks of temps over 100 degrees? I’m finding I need to water more frequently.. and these are all indoor plants..lots of drooping leaves

Has anyone found that one plant gravitates towards another? I placed my lucky bamboo next to this neon Pothos and they have fallen in love. My neon started reaching out towards the bamboo.

My birthday is in a few days and my husband and bonus kids took me shopping to get some plants! They both wanted to pick one out for me and pick the name out! We left with 4! Meet the newest members of the family! Tradenscantia is named Purple Princess, the white wizard is named Shark Tank, the adansonii is Megalodon and I picked out the pink Princess for myself who is now named Aurora! (All names were picked by the kids besides aurora which makes it fun lol)
Majestic palm suddenly getting brown tips — been fine for four months, haven’t really changed the watering routine. Just repotted it a couple of weeks ago because its roots were growing above the soil. They’re already above the soil again. Any idea what’s wrong?
So I’ve had this little Aloe plant for 3 years and it started out as a little baby, and now it’s huge and thriving. I’ve already picked 3 baby ones off it and they are now growing. But I have to put little stakes in the dirt around it to hold it up to it will fall over because it’s so top heavy. Can I cut off the top and replant it? Or Will that kill the whole plant?

This is growing from my spider plant and I’m not sure what to do with it because it’s so tall that it’s falling over and the flowers aren’t blooming they look like they are dying….
Does anyone else move their plants around constantly? I have a lot easy Plants so they don’t seem to mind. But I’m constantly moving them. If their leaves start to look a little rough I check their soil and if it’s not dry I put it in a sunnier spot. My plant stand had an order on it when I set it up but it’s changed so much since I got it.

Guys I’m so sad! 😭 I picked up this Alocasia Polly from Walmart today and I picked her because of this giant beautiful leaf. Well.. on the way home she tipped over and it broke right in the middle. Will this leaf survive? Is there anything I can do to help it or is it just going to slowly die?
