I've had this Norfolk Pine for about 6 years and it has grown but not as much as I've read it should. It's about 2 feet from a south facing window and gets mostly bright indirect light and some grow light during the winter. I mist it a couple times a week. It seems healthy and happy but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how I could increase its growth rate? Thanks!
Went to Kroger yesterday to get ice cream and left with this BEAUTY‼️ I got my Häagen-Dazs and a new baby…Hoya Krimson Princess 🫶🏾🌱
I went to Lowe’s and I saw a healthy bamboo and at Lowe’s for the bamboos they chop off a little part of the bamboo and he put this like clay stuff that you can just like scoop off why does Lowes do that but also I like have it in a little jar and it’s for the water and my mom said they’d be fine and healthy and I saw the little things moving around in it and I thought oh that just might have been like maybe two here in Vegas we have a mini mini earthquakes and I thought maybe I just like a little floaty and maybe that one of those we’re just moving there’s something living in the water of my bamboo😂
Three new babies in my windows!! They’re so pretty 😍
i woke up today and noticed my pothos’ leaves curling !!! it’s been doing really well since i got it a month ago. I’ve been watering it about once every two weeks so the soil is usually completely dry when i water, i’m guessing it’s underwatered? Pls help
Hi all, I just bought this beautiful BOP plant. I noticed over be last few days a few marks on one of the leaves. Can anyone advise? It’s getting plenty of light. Is it too much light??
Ok guys does anyone know what my Moth Orchid is doing? She’s been growing this long…protrusion for quite a few weeks now.
Some controversial plant ideas: Do snake plants prefer low/low medium light or lots of light? Should you leave a dying leaf on the plant until it falls off so the plant can reabsorb all the energy, or should you cut it as soon as you see it? Should you mist your plants or not? I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts on these.
Hi! I’m new to the plant world but happy to be here. I was given this plant but no sure what it is. And I can tell I’m not correctly taking care of it due to the broken stem. Or it was broken during the move. Does anyone know what it is and how I can best take care of it? Thank you so much!!
Has anyone used this? It was listed as top suggested for liquid fertilizer I have a variety of houseplants, first up to fertilize is this baby in a few days.
So my Mama has a money tree that has been growing in water for years. I haven’t found anything about them surviving, let alone thriving in excess water, so we’re not sure if she should just let it be or try to repot it? Advice appreciated!
Have a couple of questions , I have recently brought this strawberry plant in for the winter and placed it by this window. It looks healthy enough, but there’s some weird white stuff on the edges of the leaves. Anyone know what it is ?
I’m curious about misting plants like how much and how often, I mostly have succulents and cacti and I’m assuming that you don’t mist those but I also have a money tree and I’m wondering If I should just that?
This is a Roxburg fig, at least that’s what Planta is calling it. I’m wondering if I should remove these little leaves/growth toward the bottom of my plant. I’m thinking it’s taking away from sending energy to the top of the plant. Anyone have any thoughts?
Hey! Newish to caring for my indoor plants... What do people recommend for "misting" their plants? I currently have been using a regular spray bottle... Any brands or website would be appreciated!
I got a polka dot begonia about two weeks ago; it was already watered when i got it, so i waited a bit to water it again. It has already lost 2 leaves, and the rest isn’t looking too good :( i’m worried that it’ll get worse Am i doing anything wrong to cause this? (It’s in a not getting sunlight directly, and the weather has been sooo gloomy lately) I’m hoping someone will share their expertise with me. Thank you!💜
I love a good progress picture!! Just one of my plant children from the army I have at work. Happy Friday plant lovers! 🪴
I’m very new to plants but I picked up this one from the reduced section, from £7 to £1.75. It’s a Dracaena but not sure what specific type, if someone could help me with the type and the best way to care for it that would be really helpful since it was in the reduced section because of some dying leaves. Thank you in advance
I have this one little leaf on my new elephant plant that is browning around the edges and was wondering why this is and how I can stop it? I’ve been watering it regularly and it’s by a window
