this is my first new leaf on my pink princess!!! is it stuck? looks like it’s starting to open, but not sure if it’s normal or not!
does anyone have tips for taking care of a chinese money plant / friendship plant? I ordered one online because I can never find them in my area and it’s always droopy / losing a leaf every few days. TIA :)
Part of me really wants to chop the top part and root it in an effort to start a new, less leggy plant. Is this a bad idea? Should I let her be?
When I see other Chinese Money Plants, all the leaves are perky. I did pull this out of the trash bin at my store (saved 9 the other day!). Should I cut off the ones that have gone limp or is this the normal look for the plant?
Everyone it’s finally here!!!! This will be so great.😀
Needed to make some extra money, mainly to justify buying more plants when I'm on a really tight budget. Lol. Just put it out yesterday and put it on the local Facebook pages but no luck. Of course I live on a dead end street so that doesn't help. Any advice? I did try Facebook marketplace first but got no hits.
Last fall, this guy took a turn for the worst, had every pest imaginable, and was sooo leggy. I changed his location up at the beginning of this year, and he has been living his best life! Advice that’s helped me: if your plant continues to act unhappy and attract pests, it may not be happy in its setting. Change it up! 👏🏼 (Also, he’s been in the same pot for two years 🫣)
Hey does anyone know why 2 of my strawberry plants are growing at a faster rate than the others? I have 8 potted plants, 4 in the kitchen and 4 in the living room just to see if any differences. First pic - living room (all growing the same rate) Second pic - kitchen (the 2 in the white pots are growing wayyy faster) Last pic - close up of the difference I initially thought it might be that the kitchen has more natural light but surely the ones in the black pots would grow faster too? I then thought it might be the colour of the pot? But then the white pots in the living room are the same as the black ones so I’m lost😂 It’s not an issue at all, just wondering if anyone could explain? Its weird ahah
I’m officially a few weeks out from repotting some of my plants for the first time (I had never repotted anything before), and they are all showing new growth this week… so I officially did not kill them! 💀🥳 I was hesitant to repot even though they needed it out of fear of killing all my plants lol!
i was gitted these beautiful pieces question how long should i propagate them for or do i just repot them
Does anyone know what this bush is ? 😅 been in my yard forever
Just a friendly reminder that sometimes dead leaves are natural, I understand that it is worrying, and you should always ask someone to see if it is not doing well, but, sometimes it’s just needed for the plant 🪴😊👍 Have a good day ☀️
Hey everyone! Does anyone know what these dry looking spots are on these leaves? Left is jade plant and right is snake plant.
Help please three leaves look like this on my giant sunflower plant. What’s going on first time growing these.
So no carnivorous plant groups? Anyway here is my newest plantie friend chubby chomps . If you’ve seen teen titans go you will know the name lol hoping he gets enough to eat I got fungus gnats im trying to control . Not expecting it to be the controller but figured win win new plant & could help with the battle lol . I’ve been wanting to get another one ( I wasn’t a good plant mom in my teens) I want to make a terrarium for carnivorous plants eventually .
I think I already know the answer but I’m very new to plants and wanted to hear from folks with more experience. My Maranta seems to be growing well (constantly growing new leaves & recently it sprouted a lil baby flower and I see more coming!) But my question is, do I need to upgrade to a larger pot size?! I don’t know how to tell when it’s ready for a bigger one!
has anyone ever experienced their spider plant grow a seed pod? if so how 🤣
will umbrella trees grow from seed?
would a pachira money tree survive next to my north facing window (NO sun whatsoever)?
